However, they only spent about 10-15 minutes on each side and didn't address my concerns in my lower back or shoulders much. There was very little pressure and just light rubbing. Then the massage therapist got to my feet. I was taken aback because he spent at least 45 minutes to an hour massaging my feet. I'm not exaggerating. at times I would look down and he wasn't even really massaging, just holding my feet. I can't believe I spent as much money as I did to get an hour foot "massage". The staff is friendly but pushes the membership. After that, I was not interested in signing up. Please look elsewhere for a prenatal massage. She did the customary assessment interview of areas for possible focus, with me giving her a few, but also I've learned that just as a doctor's 'symtoms + blood-test' will indicate an appropriate medical approach, the information that her fingertips on my body would generate would give much guidance on how to apply the beautiful arsenal of therapy that the assembled techniques of massage therapy employ. What does she need from me? Only a little 'common sense' cooperation, while I can take it all in with a relaxed, sweet surrender of my stresses and tensions melting away. The soft, relaxing music she chose was especially happening to be to my tastes. Even if I attempted, I don't think I could have counted all the different approaches she used, one flowing into the next. While even a 90 minute therapeutic massage can't 'last forever', one does carry its benefits forward from the experience, in the hours, days and weeks going forward. Very nice bathrobe and sandals to put on and then you go into a waiting room. Very calm and serene. A couple of different flavored waters to choose from and snacks if you're so inclined. Waited in there about 10 mins (you can bring your phone but come on people - you're here to relax. Put the flipping thing in the locker. You can disconnect for an hour). My masseuse came and collected me and ushered me to a nice quiet room. She listened to what I wanted her to do and left me to get under the sheets. The room was nice and warm and I was never cold. The massage was WONDERFUL. I needed a deep tissue and she delivered. Within 2 days my shoulder and neck were worlds better. After the massage they take you back to the bathroom. I super appreciate that there is a shower. The only downside of massage is having that oil all over you and getting dressed again. Loved the shower - very clean and great towels.
