Please read this…read more.. So I called asking for a Swedish massage which is usually soothing. And I was set up with a masseuse by the name of Jason. The massage itself definitely was not Swedish. There were times where it was good and there was times where it was just rough. I kept informing the masseuse to go lighter but I assumed maybe he didn't hear me right. So when the session was over I asked to speak to Alicia which I believe is the owner and I expressed to her that the massage was not relaxing and that i infomed him over and over. She corrected him infront of me and explained to him he must read body language. The issue itself wasn't that the Massage was bad it was just rough and painful more of a deep tissue and I would recommend anyone who likes deep tissue to see Jason (oddly as it sounds when I used to work at the Massage center some people like rough massages) Thanks Alicia for understanding and taking care of the issue she was very apologetic.

Our massage therapists were friendly and had strong hands!! Alicia did a killer job on the BF and made sure to check on him often. He couldn't stop raving about his massage after! I'm getting her next time! My massage therapist was Linda (?) and she did a great job too! Wayyyy better than the last two massages I had. Keep in mind that this is a very quaint, but clean place - the rooms weren't fully enclosed so there was an open space near the ceiling (check out one of my photos for a better idea). We could also hear people walking up and down the hallway and even the toilet flushing nearby. If you can look past that and don't need 100% peace and quiet like me to stay relaxed, then the massage itself will be worth it! The place is clean, calm with soothing, low-volume music playing. Amy listened attentively and was very very careful, highly knowledgeable about anatomy, and did not rush through the session. She found all the knots in my shoulders and lower back spending extra time working them out using highly effective, slow, targeted strokes. She has great gentle touch, strong, firm, consistent pressure without it ever feeling painful. I left feeling noticeably better, relieved/relaxed and noticed a dramatic improvement in my neck and shoulder mobility. English was not her mother tongue so I struggled getting my message across with the service I was looking for. I will say it was a good treatment. At one point the sheet that covered me came off my back as she worked with her heels. She eventually returned the sheet to cover my back but not before tearing off a couple of layers of skin from my upper left shoulder with her heal. My first impression from all the people whining about not able to communicate with the staff is just sweet music to my ears. I want to go to a Chinese acupuncture shop that actually knows the language and culture. If you are going for Mexican food, you find a mom and pop hole in the wall, not freaking On the Border. All the reviews about language barriers is from the the previous owner, the current practitioner is perfectly fine in English. I was able to pin point my issues and we went straight to work. All pain is replaced with aches (a good thing) and just waiting for the next appointment.

She uses hot stones and works magic on my lower back. I have never had acupuncture but was in pain in my middle back and it helped heal me.
