Same as others' experience - disappointing. Got pushed for a tip after massage; even argued with me on it - and then it wasn't enough money. The tip is the customer CHOICE based on their evaluation of your LEVEL OF SERVICE. It is NOT a requirement. I will never go back again - very shitty business practice. read more

I have gone four times, three for a foot massage and one for a full body massage. The foot massage is amazing and I was really impressed by the focus on each toe and finger. The full body massage is ok, nothing special. I recommend the foot massage. read more

Honestly I've been coming here for about 2-3 years now and I recently tried out a different person and last time she pushed me for a 5$ tip which was fine because I usually leave that and this time she insisted on a 10$ tip so don't expect to pay just the 65$ for a hour if your thinking thats gonna be the end total . I gave it to her because I'm not rude but I think a tip is something someone gives you out of their kindness not something that needs to be given but for her to insist I give her the extra money made me very uncomfortable I will no longer be returning here definitely disappointed As for the massage it isn't worth 75$ ! read more

I have to agree with most of these reviews.. really aggressive, elbow digging massage.. let the guy know, ouch that hurts, he would apologize & let up a bit but then start digging again... I walked in & didn't have an appt, so it was nice to just get in fast. They were very friendly but the one thing that grinds my gears is when I tipped him he literally counted it in front of me to see if it was good enough.. needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

Literally spent the whole time digging his elbows on my spine. Used hands probably 10 min total out of 1 hour. I had to ask 3 different times to go softer. Now the middle of my back hurts so bad I literally feel like I have a deep tissue injury, I can't even lay down on my back or move it barely . I feel like someone beat me up. Worst ever. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Lee is a miracle worker and the sweetest man! I came in with my muscles so tight and knotted and in a lot of pain. He worked so hard to break up all of the knots and get me comfortable again. Then I went to start my car and my battery was dead. This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I went here for a couples massage and it was perfect for us. The spa itself is no thrills or amenities but who cares when you get an amazing massage for $50. I had Lee and if you like deep tissue you will love him! I was a massage therapist for 9 years and tend to be picky with who rubs me so when I say he is legit I mean it. They also have cheaper options but the room and full body massage is better to me than the feet. read more

I went into joyful massage with a kinked neck/shoulder at 7pm on a Saturday. I was so happy this place was open. Mr Lee was the best. I've been to many massages in my life and have paid hundreds for an hr massage with little relief. I love how affordable it was for an hr massage. They get straight to business. No gentle hands more of a deep tissue massage the entire time. I was happy with that because I was in so much discomfort with a kinked neck. By the time I left I was able to move my neck with ease. I've been here a couple times now. Prices are standard, massages are amazing. The first time I came here my massage was interrupted many times because the person working on me kept walking out to answer the phone or help other customers coming in. Which made it hard to relax & was taking time from me. However, it was still one of the best massages I've had. I highly suggest to ask for the male therapist if you like VERY hard pressure and want ALL your knots out. He did a great job doing that, and I know my body needed it but it was extremely painful and I don't recommend it if you're NOT VERY experienced at getting massages. I want to note that it may be hard for you to relax because their walls are thin & you can hear conversations from next door. If you can get past all this, you'll have the best massage ever. read more

Decided on this placed based on it's reviews. The back breaking massage was not enjoyable AT ALL! I asked the guy a few time to lighten up, that was ignored or he didn't understand. Although he agreed, he continued digging his elbow into my back and a$$! My back hurt for two days after that abuse. Not to mention, the lady stopped in the middle of the massages to tend to a customer that came in. WTF...I've never seen that happen! HIRE SOME HELP because that was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want to be elbow rolled to death, feel like you were in a fight or wrestling match, this might be for you. I prefer relaxing massages, that basically put you to sleep. This is NOT the place for that. I'm convinced some of the reviewers that actually enjoy this place is into some ruff, borderline abusive stuff. read more
