Terrible maid service! Very inconsistent. Bob has no customer service skills. We were on a 99.00 every two week plan to have our house cleaned. They came out 8 times and only two times it looked well. We gave them a chance to come out and rectify it and they failed. They are good at making excuses of why they cannot clean things that they said they would do when the order and preliminary site visit was conducted. Lyn was nice to talk to on the phone and the maids were nice in our home to us and our dogs. They seem like nice people with terrible cleaning skills and great excuse makers. Not for us! Confused !! Don't be, what's being said in these negative reviews are true to the fact from my own experience. I'm a disabled Army veteran living alone with Peripheral Neuropathy. This company I entered a contract with on 11/14/2019 to clean my duplex. And much to my surprise everything that happened in their experiences with them also happened to me. The first (3) month's went well, satisfied cleaning, punctual on time, very efficient, and couldn't ask for nicer cleaning personnel, and then their dedication and honesty changed. I was promised (2) girls, for (2) hours, once a month for $90.00/ month. Most of the time I would have the (2) girl crew, but at times only (1). Most of the time the cleaning would take from one-hour forty-five-minutes to (2) hours. Then as month's went by, my cleaning got shorter, cut to 40-minutes to (1) hour. And the strange thing was, they would use a timer to designate when they had to cut the cleaning job short. PUZZLING !! It got to where they would call me to confirm my appointment for cleaning on the following Monday or Tuesday end of each month that stopped. Their punctuality, arriving on time, efficiency in cleaning, and professionalism from the owner's Bob, Karen, and Kamala (Office Mgr.) also went to the wayside. I would be expecting the crew on a specific time and date, they were either to early or late, wasn't scheduled to clean my place, or a no show, no phone calls, no nothing. Then when I would call the office to see what had happened, I would get all kind of excuses. I found plastic blinds broken, burner element block for the stove under the drip pan broke, chipped end-tables that were new from careless vacuuming, and never brought to my attention, among other out of the way mishaps. Their outline of their (24-STEPS TO HEALTHY HOMES) is nothing to write home to a mother about. The cleaning gals/gal I had in the later months of my cleaning did a far below satisfactory job in in my opinion, because of time allowed. Who ever thought of cleaning a place by a "timer", is beyond me. So to sum this review all up, their maid service was inconsistent most of the time after the first (3) months, owners have little or very few customer skills, lack in management and professionalism, no transparency, very large turnover, low pay for long and and extra hour, and bonuses withheld, and etc. Cleaning crews would after the first (3) months did a very poor job, skipping over things and not fulfilling what I signed up for. When Karen and I sat down to discuss what they would do for the $90.00/month, sounded great to me, so I trusted her and took her word for it. Shortly later the services increase without any notice, until I called to inquire. "NEVER ONCE DID THE OWNER'S CALL AND ASK HOW THINGS WERE GOING". The reason I stayed so long with the company and their services is, I was hoping things would get better and the "wrongs were made right", but the problems became endless. I do NOT recommend this company to anybody that wants exceptionally good cleaning and professional work done to their satisfaction. It's mediocre to say the least. They didn't even have what it takes to call me yesterday (6/21/2021) and let me know, there would be no-one coming out to clean and they were absolving our agreement. They are a great disappointment to me, and I don't think they take much confidence in their work structure. or management practices even tho they been in business for great many years. All this I have documented......as to the truth of what I stated in the review above, so there is no discrepancy as to what they agreed with when we sat down and went over my services I was paying for. I tried to call the office on the 21st of June when they never showed up to clean and cancel my services permanently, and like usual no one answered or returned my call. I have never been so disappointed in a company. Last Tuesday I found my mother-in-law dead. I text my company and let them know. They fired me for a "no call no show". How heartless can a person be not to see how an event like this hurts a person and their family! Not only did we lose our mom I also lost my job and my source of income. I love coming home to a clean home after a long day at work! My wife and I fully appreciate the time saved and the maids do a much better job than we could ever do ourselves. We've been customers for over 5 years. Saving time is my #1 reason for household services, like maid service, because I'd rather spend my time doing other things. The advantage of Happy Homes is they're insured, always show up the day we're scheduled, and provide a quality clean. We also get our carpets cleaned by them every couple of months. I'm a bit confused by the negative reviews but here goes mine: Happy Homes Maids have been cleaning my house for over one year now. I hired them as soon as we moved to Boise. I interviewed several companies and decided to hire Happy Homes Maid Service. They come every other week and do a great job (wash floors, vacuum, change sheets in master bedroom, clean bathrooms, etc.) (Once there were a few issues that I mentioned to the management and they came back and corrected the situation.) They clean our two floors and each time do a deep clean in one area (one of the rooms/bathrooms.) Additionally, they are very flexible. My husband's schedule can be inconsistent and at times I had to reschedule cleaning the morning of and they responded right away and made proper accommodations. Also when we traveled for extensive periods of time they had no problems postponing the service. I am very happy with the service and will continue to working with them. read more

The service they provided was in Nov. 2014. Happy Homes has come to our home 3 times and every time it has been a disappoint! The girls skip out on things and do things half butt. Its really annoying that I get charged for them to put sheets on a bed but yet the girls don't even hook the sheets under the mattress. Also they don't tuck the flat sheet under the mattress even a hotel staff knows how to make a bed correctly. They have told me every time they have cleaned my breakfast room table, just because you wipe it with a damp rag doesn't make it clean. Sometimes you need to grab a sponge and scrub. The first time they were doing a DEEP CLEAN the girls skipped out a everything trying to bail out in 2 hours of cleaning a 3500 square foot home,. I called in they sent somebody to audit which was nice and sad to see just how much the girls were trying to skip out on. I was getting charged $299 for a deep clean which was not that until the manger came. The girls lie saying they do stuff then skip it out like: wiping down dressers, cleaning around toilets, if there is a toy on the rug they vacuum around it verses picking it up, if you have 4 dishes in your sink they will skip not clean it serious the list is endless. I have had to call every week to complain about something not being done. It is so disheartening that a company can not guarantee that there girls are doing a good job and not representing this company in a great way. I have cameras in my home and I am temped to watch through them just to see what they didn't do. They also said they would have somebody come out and audit this week and nobody showed. For the amount they charge I should never have to call and complain. We used to have a gal come and clean she charged about 1/3 less and I never had to say anything ever. Seriously would not recommend this complain unless they can pull out a miracle to fix this all and guarantee there girls are going to do the job right the first time. I would like to update my the status on my review. I was hoping to have give the Happy Home Maids the chance to show me what there company was really about with making their clients happy. Well upon me writing my review they did send a lady out to correct some of the issues that I hadn't already fixed. Which was nice and the gal did a great job. So we were happy to give them a couple more shots in hope that I would be removing my review to give them a positive one. Well that was not the case. This morning I got a call from them telling me that the team would not be here to clean tomorrow because had not changed my review and they think it would be best to cut ties. The gal included to tell me I was a difficult which I thought was extremely rude! I then told them that I was hoping that the girls were coming and going to do an amazing job that why I could update my review. She then stated that I couldn't have already updated review after the girl came out. I said I was planning on updating it after the girls came out to clean. I found it funny that instead of trying to stand and say we are going to really do a great job they wanted to cut ties as if they weren't confident in there work. Even when the manager came out to correct the problem my husband told her if we could just get the say team out it would be good. I must say that Happy Home Maids is a disappoint they are a small family owned company who if you write them a bad review they will then cancel your service if you don't change your review on there schedule. If this was a bigger corp the heat that would come back from this would be crazy not to mention telling somebody they were difficult. Also I would like to mention the people in review their Facebook are all family members and owners. FRom a marketing stand point you just shot yourself in the foot because this review has not chance of changing. Which is sad. They recently responded very rude on Facebook 3 months after they so "fired me as a customer". Saying I bullied they because I wrote a review on all review sites. Sorry but its a review your free to write reviews but they need better customer service and there girls need to clean better the first time.
