I was looking forward to either visiting the ranch/farm in-person or finding its products and proprietor at a local farmers' market during a road trip through the Pacific Northwest. Then a pandemic came along, with that farmers' market impacted and my ability to go the distance postponed. I've found the online ordering easy, using Shopify. As I have never been an Amazon shopper or a high-volume, high-frequency online shopper, I'm pleased by the choice of platform. Delivery has always been quick, and I live two (large) states away. I've called a few times with questions and messages were returned promptly and cheerfully when I did not get through directly to the proprietor. I am happy to transact with this family-owned business for years to come. I had only bought quality emu-based products once before, over a decade earlier, from a vendor in another part of Washington State. That business is no longer available, at least not to an out-of-state customer. I feel lucky to have discovered 3 Feathers with a bit of online browsing. I'm glad to have heard a bit of the personal story, by phone, of taking the plunge into this business niche and lifestyle niche, in rural Lewis County, Washington.

He seemed mildly interested and after several long pauses during which time he said he was 'thinking', and no substantive content, I ended the call. In a post-phone call email, he stated he would "investigate this phenomenon".
