With every issue we faced, she sought to figure out how to turn my dog's attentions away from their "naughty " behavior and towards an acceptable alternative. It's worked unbelievably well. We've been working with CJ for almost four months and I can say without question, that these are the most well-trained dogs I've ever had. And, the cherry on top? They LOVE training! If you're on the fence about training, give CJ a try. It's a totally worthwhile investment, something you'll be thanking yourself for many times over, over the years. You can't go wrong!

The classes started on time, and were structured with different skills each class. We started warming up our dogs before jumping into new skills, which was nice. They did a great job at making sure there were no nose to nose interactions between the dogs and were very patient with the more reserved dogs. We would definitely consider taking another class with Unleashed because their instructors clearly know their stuff! Our dog has mastered "touch" and "place", and he has gotten a lot better at "stay". Emily even taught him a cute bonus trick "wave"! Thank you!!

I adopted a Pomeranian mix a few years ago who has a fearful personality. I was struggling to guide him through his triggers, and it felt like his fear and reactivity were getting worse over time. We needed to improve specific situations. I heard about Jonathan from a friend who worked with him, who raved about his approach and ability to work with difficult dogs. Jonathan met us for a consultation and evaluated Arlo. He provided a thorough report and insights on my dog's behavior as well as a path forward with multiple solutions to achieve all of our goals. Jonathan's strong understanding of dog behavior and analysis made me feel like it was possible to get Arlo's challenging behavior in a better place. We've had multiple sessions since then, specifically working on a better exercise and stimulation routine, leash pulling, begging and barking during meal time, and Arlo's triggers with guests entering our tiny city apartment, men, and people approaching the car. I have seen progress in each of those scenarios thanks to our work with Jonathan. In the beginning of our work together, Jonathan evaluated Arlo's personality and energy levels even more by taking him for a day to test different activities and build a relationship with Arlo to support training. I was so impressed this was part of his process. I did not believe Arlo would be a happy camper spending the day with a stranger, and Jonathan showed me pictures of him having fun and relaxing which demonstrated to me even more his talent, intentionality, and ability to dog whisper. After working with Jonathan for a first round of sessions, I booked him for more to get even better at my dog mom leadership skills and training for Arlo. One of Arlo's biggest triggers was people approaching the car while he sits in the backseat. This was my biggest training challenge as he would be reactive while I was driving/pulled up to a traffic light. Within an hour session, Jonathan was able to help me create a plan and reinforce the desired behavior during those triggers, completely turning one of our most difficult scenarios into one we navigated with confidence where I felt I had full control of Arlo. Arlo was immediately responsive to the approach and I've been able to completely manage the scenario since that one session. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend working with Jonathan. His special understanding of dogs and human beings as well as his demeanor is game changing for dog owners who are stressed out and losing hope about their dogs behavior. His process completely transformed my confidence as a "leader of the pack" and my dog's confidence as well. This improved me and Arlo's relationship and made life in the city much more enjoyable for the both of us. Thank you Jonathan!

If you're like me…read moreand you're one of the thousands of people now with a "pandemic puppy" then you need to start training that pup. I thought I could train her on my own and quickly realized I was in over my head. These people know dogs, love them and want to help you have the best relationship with your dog as possible. Opportunity Barks offers a wide range of training options. We started with the "Foundations" training course online. I bought the package that included one on one training sessions (had to start doing them via Zoom and then we were able to switch to in person). My puppy has responded SO well to training and also loved the puppy social I took her to (structured time for puppies under 6 months with a trainer present). I had no problems with communication with OP Barks. Whether it was a question about my package or training questions someone responded super quickly. Can't recommend them enough for anyone with a dog.

I also went to a play group at their Farm in Quakertown. It's nice knowing that my dog can play with other dogs in an enclosed area with professionals to keep an eye on them to make sure they play safely. I have taken a class with them and they are wonderful. All about being able to keep your dog focused and happy. They teach many things that help in the real world not just one on one. I also know many friends who have taken classes and have nothing but nice things to say. If you are looking for a trainer look no further!
