They blocked off a manhole in the middle of a busy street where we climbed our way down in to darkness. It was quite a unique and once in a lifetime experience. Our following escapade was white water rafting in PA. That was a very special trip for me as I made many good friends. Other outings include mixers, a drawing event, kayaking, and even a capoiera class next month. The organizers Will and Cecilia are a gem. They were perfectly friendly and welcoming when I first joined the group and now they've built a wonderful family of NYC adventurers. I'm always looking forward to what they'll cook up next.

The host/coordinator (I think his name is Will) was very flirty & touchy with me and other female members (who also expressed the same), I found this unprofessional. It also made my male friend who I brought along feel uncomfortable and in his words "the coordinators made no effort to make the male members feel welcomed." I have gone to a couple of their events and it's good if you have nothing else to do and need impromptu plans. The other members are fairly warm and welcoming but they can also be "clique-y." I believe everyone or most of the close members and coordinators all went to the same school or knew each other prior, hence their "cliques" I'm giving them 2 stars for being on time and organized with their events and they're somewhat always in or close to the city.

The restaurant seating area has some small tables and some stadium seating. I was sat at a small table with two other people I didn't know. The server came over to take our orders but wasn't particularly friendly. I ordered an Antidote mocktail - it has rose, hibiscus and grapefruit juice, plus a cheese board. When my drink arrived, it was opposite of the drink I described above. The drink was green for one, and tasted heavily of jalapeño, leading me to believe I was incorrectly given the Club Spice mocktail. I flagged over my server and told him I was given the wrong drink, and he proceeded to argue with me about it. I said this tastes like jalapeño and doesn't taste like the Antidote at all, there's nothing in here that indicates there is rose, hibiscus or grapefruit juice. He said "the antidote has spice in it too" which was not even accurate and "the bartender told him this was the Antidote." I repeated that this tasted like jalapeño. He finally agreed to switch out the drink, so I ordered some other mocktail that had ginger and turmeric (can't remember the name) but it was good. Took a while to come out however. It was super weird and off putting that he was arguing with me when I clearly know what I am tasting in the drink. Throughout the event, service was poor. Water wasn't refilled until 10 min before the event ended. The man sitting next to me ordered a drink early in the evening that just never showed up, I felt really bad. The cheese board is overpriced at $27 for a handful of cheese, pickled veggies and a dollop of mustard the size of my thumb. The focaccia it came with was very good however. The server never came by to close out checks when the event ended so I had to track him down and make sure to close out. 3 stars for the aesthetic of the place, the friendly front desk staff and for some of the food and drink being ok. I wonder if the service here is any better during the day when there's just members in the space. I'd come back for another Lecture event but keep my expectations low for the service.

I started with a green apple, which took me a very long time to decorate/ wrap. I took in the advice of fellow crafters who attended the session and made 2 strawberries: 1 red and 1 pink. The event lasted from 6 PM to 9 PM and I stayed till the very end. The hosts were very kind and gave good advice to newcomers. There were so many options of fruit and vegetables to choose from. I am so glad to have been picked to attend. Neuehouse hosts lots of craft nights, I recommend it to everyone.

From my experience they give u an option to utilize more than one of their well decorated floors. The first event was on the fourth floor and guests later moved up to the rooftop. This most recent event on 4/15/22 took place von the fourth floor. Guests later moved onto the fourth floor for the dancing and partying side of the event. We served passed horderves on both floors. Staff is kind and professional. I'd love to have an event here one day!

But the night got even better... We were split into groups and I was placed into the capable hands of Chef Charmaine. My group was in charge of the upside down strawberry cake. Yum- I hope there'd be batter testing involved!! Charmaine gave each of us a job (mine was to crack eggs). We chatted and drank wine while we baked so it was actually fun. I may have given her a slight heart attack when I dumped the vinegar into the batter way earlier than necessary, but for the most part Charmaine made sure the others would be able to enjoy our cake. By the time I was over cracking eggs, stirring batter (and yes, even taste testing) it was time to sit down for a 5 star meal of gazpacho, flatbread, salmon, quinoa and the cake. I wasn't a huge fan of the salmon, but it was probably just me because it quickly disappeared from everyone else's plates. Everything else was absolutely incredible. My office had a team building exercise for our company here and I have to say it was loads of fun!!…read more We were split into two groups as it seemed the anymore than 20 people in the kitchen would have been chaos. While one group was cooking in the kitchen along side professional chefs the other group was being entertained in the dining area with some kitchen/cooking trivia which was loads of fun. The dining area is relatively small so I'm not certain what the capacity limit is for an event hosted by this company but my guess would be a cooking event by this company is probably limited to a group of about 50 at a time. Larger companies probably would have to break into two separate time slots (but of course only they can answer that question). The kitchen was very clean and we used quality pots, bowls and culinary products and it was apparent when you held the stuff. It truly was an amazing experience and the staff was patient and absolutely great. Heck we were even a tough crowd getting carried away during the entertainment portion. The staff probably wanted to hit us over the head with a couple frying pans but they were great sports! My only complaint from the event was that my company was cheap and didn't order beef, they opted instead for veggie options (Yuk!) but the food quality was great.

As a venue, it's classy and chic. From the perspective of an event planner, it's several months of work. The empty whiteness needs to be color lit, the audio needs to be set up and stretched to the far corners of the room and the ground needs something to un-hinge it from the wall and add dimension. Furniture needs to be brought in, electricians, and coat closet workers. The beauty is both in the simplicity of the space, and the amount of imagination (and $$$) to execute a really fantastic event or show here.

The gathering was fabulous, a cocktail party with a runway show that included special guest and great supporter Kimora Lee Simmons. The venue is a wide, clean space with high ceiling. A space that can be transformed for whatever event you are planning to have. The facility even has a kitchen for any catering or on-site entertaining needs. I was blown away with the setup JustFab had. A beautiful back drop, a runway with stage, white sofas on each side for VIP guest, three (3) bars, photo booths, a step and repeat, so much going on but the best part was the all white linen fitting rooms to try on our FREE new jeans... That's right, they gave us all free jeans from their new collection to take home. Fabulous event in fabulous venue, makes for a justfab time ;) Look into this space for your next event.
