This is a 4' X 8' simple shed, vinyl, and I have the pavers and the plywood for the foundation. The manufacturer estimates a 2 to 4 hour job. So $1000 would be a $500-$250 an hour charge! Hoo wee! I spent $900 on all the materials. Others quoted $250-$400 to do the job. Sorry, I can't recommend their handyman services. So take this review as if I went to a store, found that they were charging $16 for a gallon of milk. I didn't buy the milk, but I certainly cannot recommend buying that store's milk. And if you would read the owner's comments to the 1 and 2 star reviews including this one, the tone of his voice is telling. When a business receives a bad rating or review or a customer complaint, it is a great opportunity to make good and create immense good will, not only with the customer in question, but for anyone reading the review and how it was handled. More business owners would do well to learn this lesson. ***UPDATE So the owner then sends me a personal message to further berate me. This is unprofessional and childish behavior. I hardly write any 1 star reviews, but when a business owner is unprofessional, immature, and way overpriced, it leaves me no choice. Be cautious about hiring him. This was not a simple painting task, but rather a complete restoration project. They kept us informed regularly about what they were doing and gave us plenty of time to inspect every aspect of the work being done. Garret Abeyta (owner) was the only paint contractor out of several bidders that identified and had solutions for restoration of our 47 year old house, which we knew needed serious attention. He clearly informed us of the detailed needs for our gables, eaves, and facia. Abeyta Painting did a great job for us! Rafael and Sergio showed fantastic attention to detail, which we had explained was our #1 priority. They were prompt, charming, responsive, and hard working. PJ, the project manager, stopped by frequently to ensure all was going smoothly and was easy to communicate with. A few hours later Sea Green emailed me saying they would like to bid on the job. Oct 23: Maritza and Jose arrive onsite and inspect the damage. Nov 1: bid received, we approved to proceed Nov 6: work completed Nov 9: invoice received Nov 10: cut check for payment As you can see from the After picture below, Jose did a great job patching up the masonry. They would have repainted for $25 more, but we didn't have the paint formula handy, we can do that ourselves at our convenience. Sea Green Painting as the name suggests does a lot of paint work, but can also fix the stuff that lies beneath the paint: drywall, masonry, etc. You may not see the same quick turnaround we did, depending on the nature of the job and how busy their craftsmen are. We were extremely pleased with the speed and quality of the work. This is our first time using Yelp to find a contractor in Tucson, and I obviously was pleased with how well it worked out.

We were impressed with the quality of the work and the friendliness and helpfulness of the workers. Our CC&Rs have slightly complicated rules about what parts of the exterior are the responsibility of the HOA and what are the responsibility of the homeowners. At the start, only a few homeowners asked Sea Green to paint the areas that are the owner's responsibility. But the quality of the work was apparent immediately and there is no better advertisement than seeing a good company at work. After seeing the first few houses and hearing the praise that the first few homeowners had for the workers, most of the rest hired Sea Green to do the extra work. Of course, you don't tackle 82 home without some complaints. I was the HOA member tasked with being the liaison with Sea Green and I got to see at close hand Maritza handle the problems that came up. She was attentive, courteous, patient, and very good at resolving problems to the complainer's satisfaction. In the end, it is the workers on site that make a difference. I give full praise to them, in particular Jose, Gilbert, and Mino. Their work was impeccable, their attitude was a pleasure, and they went out of their way to be helpful to our 55-and-older community. They have a lot of friends here.
