Friday afternoon, 24 hours later, no return phone call or email. I tried both methods again. Very easy to schedule; good and immediate feedback from the online booking. Truck arrived next day as scheduled, pretty much right on time. Driver quoted a price for a half truck load, it certainly wasn't on the low end of what is available for hauling at $300, but not outrageous. He said he was pretty sure it was a half truck. Asked them to stop at the half truck mark if they got there as I had another contractor able to haul away part of the pile next week as part of another job. Didn't watch them, my bad, but they didn't stop; and in the end eyeballed the load and thought it was a bit more than a half truck load and wanted another $100. On the good side, the pile was gone and swept up, but certainly not a 5 star experience; I'll go elsewhere in the future. Followup: Owner immediately made this right and sent an unconditional $100 refund and an apology for the hassle. He clearly values customer feedback and didn't ask for a change in my rating in return for but, in the end, hard to argue with a 4.5 star, rounded to 5, for the total interaction and am changing the review accordingly. read more
