WE LOVE HAPPY LAMB!!! Can't believe there is one nearby the British Museum. We surely enjoyed this location and EXCELLENT service, and atmosphere. We appreciate the restaurant helped with the OLD MONEY. We would know the money has OLD & NEW in UK. Highly recommend this location! Very clean and friendly staff.

Such a fun and unique experience. We did the sirloin, chefs lamb, seafood platter for the meats .we would not do the seafood platter again. The prawns were too much work and the fish had bones. The mussels and crab sticks were delicious!! The veggie platter we would also pass on, but noodles were delicious!! They were chewy but I would eat a whole plate of them. We got the mild chicken broth and it added the perfect heat.

Hot pot recovery New Zealand Lamb 9.76/10- so flavorful, very delicious, tenderness level on par Beef shoulder 8.65/10- very good but not as tender as the other two meats, and a bit dry in comparison Sirloin beef 9.23/10- had lots of flavor too it and was perfectly tender Regular chicken broth 10/10 Spicy chicken broth 10/10 Spicy pickled cabbage broth 3/10- too tart plus the spice was just not the right combination.. had to switch it for the spicy chicken broth Vegetable platter 6/10- honestly just wanted mushrooms mostly and for a large platter they gave a huge variety but i was expecting more mushrooms and carrots Kimchi 9.76/10- the perfect side, great complement to the meats. Thoroughly enjoyed Noodles 9.87/10- got this on a whim before realizing we ordered too much food but it was so worth it, so tasty and such a good complement with the meats, also the texture was amazing Scallion pancakes 7.65/10- so buttery but not as flaky as I was expecting however delicious. Also surprised it didn't come with sauce but it was so delicious and I like how it wasn't overbearing and a thinner pancake than a few other places I've tried it at This place is great! Firstly the ambience is phenomenal and so nice. Their service is great and the food comes fast, they are very accommodating. They close at 10 pm and last call is 9:30 pm so technically people are able to still eat until 11 pm. They also give lotus biscoff cookies at the end of the meal.

This hotpot place is so perfect for a cold day. The portions are large and everything was delicious. The soup itself was amazing. It was so rich and flavorful, I could just drink that and be satisfied. The thinly sliced meat was tender and juicy as well. The seafood platter we got was filled and fresh. The only thing I do not recommend is the fresh beef with garlic. Although the meat is really tender, the slices of beef itself were really thick and looked like it should've been used for some kind of stir fry. Overall, an amazing experience for my time here in London.

Delicious and quality meats in a modern setting. Friendly service. It's a must try if you like hot pot, especially Mongolian style Chinese hot pot.

Freakin' Delicious! Learned about it from TimeOut magazine (see link)…read more https://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/master-wei They were right! The potato sliver salad was like a thin sliced crunchy papaya salad. Great texture with a slight quick ferment flavor. But it was the Szechuan chilies that really set it apart. Yum! And the plate of Xi'an liangpi noodles was even better! Perfect melting of chili oil & noodles. We fought for every bite. The sauce was so good. We used it for everything else afterwards. Staff were friendly and efficient great value for the money as well. Go here!

Once I picked it up I made the short walk (literally right around the corner) back to my hotel, so everything was still warm and nowhere near soggy from sitting in a to-go container too long. The pork burger was the winner here. It had good flavor and held up well for takeout. The beef noodles were solid but not quite as good. The beef itself was a bit dry, which took away from what should've been a juicier, more satisfying bite. Xi'an cuisine is known for its hand-pulled noodles and bold, spicy flavors, so I was hoping for a bit more richness on the beef component specifically. Overall, a decent quick bite. I'd go back and order the pork burger again, though I might branch out to something other than the beef noodles next time.

I looked on reddit and a few people gave some positive reviews on this restaurant. I guided my brother here and we were immediately impressed with the service and how comfortable the environment was when we entered. We ordered a few items to share and it was plenty between the two of us. We have some local favorite items from home that we tried out here, and this restaurant does each of these pieces exceptionally well. Highly recommend to anyone who is in the area looking for a restaurant in Chinatown. The cuisine is southeast Asian and each of these items on the menu tell you where the item is from. There are also pictures on the menu, but they do not do the food justice as the food came out so well prepared and complimented our day in London. I will be sharing with anyone who comes!

We ordered the wings, Singapore seafood noodles and the Mongolian beef. I do wish the dishes or waiter explained what ingredients went into the dish. I was not prepared for the sweetness or pineapples on my beef. My seafood dish had very little seafood and the wings were fine...the green tea was great. Lots of other great places to explore. If I return I Would try the Malaysian crab. The table next to me ordered that and it looked great!

Food wise, I wouldn't it is the best Chinese I have ever been to but it's very good food and worth going if you want upscale Chinese without the crazyness of central London/Chinatown. We shared for starters the spicy sechuan aurbergine (a must order), mushroom buns (as nice as the ones from aWong) deep fried green beans (also a must) and the crispy duck ( Im never a fan but aWong and Kym's probably have the best ones and amazing plum sauce) For mains we tried the three treasure (soya chicken, iberico pork char sui and crispy pork). I think my favourite was the crispy pork. Its a good way of tasting all the rotisserie but if you are super hungry I would recommend ordering 2 of the rotisserie separetely. As for desserts, we tried the Pineapple bun and the cherry ice cream both lovely. Awong is definitly the king of custard. although I think the custard bun from aWong just beat everything lolol.

Victoria set the stage and steered me to a sampling that did not disappoint. Egg roll - not your typical egg roll, enshrined in a crispy rice shell, lightly fried to perfection, accompanied by a tangy sweet dipping delight. Followed by the mushroom steamed buns, and capped off by the most spectacular pork and shrimp boa boa, perfectly spicy, fully satisfying, a work of art. The service was spectacular and matched the experience. Make this a stop on your foodie tour of London.

It is an unassuming little Chinese take away place squashed between a men's barber shop and a second hand watch store and until I stopped in front of it by chance, I thought the barber shop and watch shop were direct neighbours! When I walked in I instantly thought of 2 films: 'Big Trouble in Little China' and 'Blade Runner'. Why? Honestly, I couldn't put my finger on it but I think it was because this is a tiny, teeny, place that looks family run and authentic. Not sure what I'm babbling on about here, I'll just get to the food... They have a lunch menu that is just £6, for which you get a starter and a main course with your choice of boiled or egg fried rice or noodles. The food is cooked freshly in front of you, is quite copious and tastes pretty damn good. I can thoroughly recommend the prawn sesame toast as a starter. Oh, important to mention that they have trouble getting more than 3 customers in the place at a time, be ready for a tight fit while you wait. A good take away lunch spot for those not wanting to settle for a sandwich, crisps and a can of pop - let's face it, that will cost you more than £6 at lunch in this part of town!

All the food is prepared to order and I ws disappointed to not be able to see into the kitchen. However, when it arrived it was yummy! I went with the Singapore Laksa, which is a yellow curry coconut sauce with noodles, shrimp, sliced potatoes and tofu puffs. Absolutely delicious in a massive bowl, it was really warming on a cold day. Really inexpensive, even with a small bottle of Perrier, my meal was £6 (~$10).
