This place is just ok...to be quite frank, it's below average. Out of the 5 drinks we ordered, I liked 2 drinks, the Oreo cream puff and strawberry green tea with lychee jelly and crystal boba. The brown sugar boba was disgusting, it was far from your typical brown sugar boba from any boba shop. That stuff was straight up honey and it was sooo strong. My son go to drink is brown sugar boba at all boba shops and the look on his face was just full of sadness. We tried to add more milk to make the drink better but that drink was not fixable. It was the worse brown sugar boba ever. I do not recommend it at all, unless you like to drink pure honey. (Sad thing is, my son absolutely hate honey, so again, just huge disappointment for him) Straight waste of $$$$$ into the trash. I also ordered the passion fruit tea with no ice, there was ice and zero passion fruit flavor, such a bummer. Service was a little nonexistent but the vibe of the shop was cool! There are so many boba shops in Denver area to try out and I'm not in a hurry to go back to this one unless someone I'm with is wanting to go, when I do return, I would love to try the taro cream puff or Vietnamese coffee. read more

Given the lack of bubbletea in this area, it was nice to see something new here, for that I give it credit. Other than that, this is a very average bubbletea. That is usually the case with chain spots, but some can be really good (Teahee/Shiba Boba, for instance) Happy Lemon is a very run-of-the-mill place and may be good if you're introducing someone to these kinds of drinks for the first time. I found the drinks to be on the mild side in terms of flavor, more watered down tea taste than anything else. The bubbles seemed small and were also just okay. The inside is cute, there are plenty of places to sit down and they have some games you can play. It'd be a nice family outing or a place to bring kids. Parking can be kind of tricky when its busy, but I had no issues finding a spot out front. Staff and service were quick and friendly. Overall, I think I would only return here if I was really in the mood for bubble tea and already in the area shopping. read more

I've been here about 4 times already. Each time I've been here the staff is friendly and make the drinks so delicious. This is our go to spot for a happy little treat. My favorite is the Vietnamese coffee with puff cream. I recommend pairing it with a fresh bubble waffle. The waffle takes a little while because they make each one fresh on the spot. Make sure to get a side of puff cream with the waffle you will not be disappointed. My kids love this place because they have fun board games and the staff is always sweet to them. read more

So my daughter loves this place and they NEVER have anything they always say they are out of boba and that makes my daughter unhappy because as i said she loves this place for some reason and plus a week ago or a few days ago my daughter begged me to take her before it closes so i had to drive five minutes away from our house and we got there at 8:40 and she goes in all happy but after she comes out she looked sad and she said that a worker told her that they are closed and that the last customer were two girls sitting there. Every time she orders, she asks for extra boba, but this male worker gives her regular boba when she PAID for extra boba. Such a scam, never letting her go here again. The drinks are delicious and the customer service is amazing. We have a gluten allergy and they helped us find a drink perfect for our little guy, they also had great recommendations for our kids and helped us navigate the menu! Highly recommend. Overall cute place. Great service. Similar to other Happy Lemons. Downfall was not seeing the employees hair being tied back which for me is a hygiene issue and a food handling issue. I'd return but I would also like the business to take in consideration of having workers have their hair tied back so it doesn't interfere with the drinks or food in front of them. read more

Finally, something delicious in Brighton! My favorite is the salted cheese green tea, best part is being able to adjust the sweetness level. Staff are friendly bobas are okay. I've had better boba at other places. I ordered the Taro for my little one and it was super watered down and wasn't the purple color it normally is at other places I've gotten it from. Ordered a winter melon drink with salted foam top. The guy charged me 9$ for the drink. When I picked it up I asked if it had salted top. He said no you have to pay for it. I was excited to check this new boba tea place out! However I was disappointed. We went to go check it out but came 5 min early. There were no hours of operation in the window so we checked to see if it's open or closed. The door was open. It was crazy cold and extremely windy outside but the worker told us to wait outside for those last 5 min of them getting ready. While waiting- once it hit 11- we weren't sure if we were welcome in or not. Or if they needed more time? We waiting outside even longer because we didn't want to be rude. It was confusing what was going on. I'm not saying they owed it to us to let us in but it would've been extremely kind to invite us to sit down for a minute and just to be patient for them to be ready. Once inside- the girl taking the order was confused and not sure what we were trying to order. I think she either not sure what the items were or maybe confused of where to find the items on the menu. I'm also not a fan with the ladies having their hair down while making food/drinks as that's usually a hygiene thing in restaurants. I'm not saying they looks unkempt but that's the easiest way for a loose hair to get into a drink or their waffles. We were the only ones inside of the store and it took 15 minutes on their little timer menu for us to get our order. The first order was a mango green tea- it was suppose to be iced but all of the ice was melted. It wasn't exactly cold but it was yummy. The other was a taro milk tea- light ice light sweetness. When I received it- all of the ice was melted. The drink was very warm. It was so seeet that after three sips I had to toss it. Since it took so long to get the drink- I didn't want to bother to ask if they could redo it. I had a time crunch to get back to work from my lunch break. It wasn't even worth it. It's safe to say that they still are super rough around the edge. They are very brand new. I also could've caught them on a completely bad day with workers who had no clue what's going on. At this moment, I'm not going back. I would rather wait and give them a few months or year to get into a groove. Once they have some experience under their belt then I feel like I can say if they are meh or not. Right now- they have some work/training to still do. Oh the other side- the decor is super cute. Even if they messed up the orders, I'm still glad they are here as an option. It look like others had a complete opposite experience than us which is good.
