Then and only then did she look up to see me and offer some assistance. She was relatively pleasant in her one word utterances and my shake was made rather quickly. There was some confusion on her part when I asked for the Salted Caramel Peanut Butter flavor, seemed like I knew the flavor name better than she did. Worried about my flight and having been a patron of counter service establishments over the last five years I took the liberty of tilting the Toast tablet in my direction, adding a tip, and printing my receipt while she mixed and shaked my delectable dessert. Nothing special, nothing memorable, certainly nothing that would remotely justify a price tag like that. It tasted like the same frozen yogurt you can get at dozens of other places for a fraction of the cost. What really made the experience worse was the fact that there were no tasting cups available. Most frozen yogurt shops allow customers to try flavors before committing, especially when you're paying by weight. Here, you're expected to just guess and hope you like what you pick, while the price quietly climbs into the stratosphere. Again, I come from Southern California. I've been to plenty of frozen yogurt shops in places where rent, labor, and everything else is expensive. Never in my life have I paid $27 for two small yogurts. Their peach blonde was pretty good as well. I wasn't a big fan of their Mexican lager taco matic and the peanut butter blonde. I'd probably try the cherry Belgian strong again as well.
