They treat her with respect and dignity, ensuring she is clean and cared for. Meals are around a family dining table with conversations and interaction. Residents are provided around the clock care from staff that look after her needs and always welcome family visitors. Staff knows us by name and informs us of any changes or updates when we arrive. The care facility is a family home atmosphere which is inviting, non-hospital environment, which made for an easier transition from her home to Green Gables when she first arrived. They elderly are in the building ALONE from 7:30 pm…read moreto 7:30am. plus, my father was having problems the other day.( i live out of town )i called his room and he didn't answer. i then called the front desk. i told the woman who answered my call, my concerns. she said, "he CAN'T answer the phone. he is on his bed GASPING FOR AIR"!!!!!!! i told her to call 911. she said "he wouldn't push his grey triangle and she wasn't a medical profession"--OMG! but, she said,, "you can call 911 if you want." so i did. he was rushed to the hospital. he is fine now, but, he needed a lot of care at the hospital. who does that????? holy cow! if i saw a stranger on the sidewalk in need of care i would call for help. what is what compassionate people do. my dad is getting out of there this week. unbelievable!!!

Gated and very quiet for seniors. They offer transportation services weekly for doctor appointments and shopping and even have someone who comes in to do haircuts and manicures. My Dad loves it there!
