We tried this salon while visiting El Paso. It is easy to get to in a strip mall . We did a walk in & they got us right in for a pedicure . The nail technicians are all so friendly . The salon is very clean . They took their time & did a great job. We got the Deluxe pedicure with gel. They did such a great job on our heels they have are so soft & removed all hard skin. Once again Happy Nails NEVER disappoints. I always go see Luke or Lilly to do my nails. Honestly, I always make the drive to see if they are busy because they are ALWAYS busy!! Like ALWAYS!! I was in El Paso for the week visiting my mother and decided to get my nails done. Based on the reviews I chose to give this place a try. I had a feeling I was going to end up dissatisfied from the moment I walked in the salon, but I chose to give them a chance despite my gut feeling. I was their first client of the day, 10 am on Thursday, and the only one in the salon for over an hour. No warm greeting, no good morning, absolutely horrible customer service. It felt as if they were unhappy that someone had actually showed up at 10am to get their nails done. Neither of the ladies who attended to me engaged in conversation with me. Now I'm back home in Central TX, and my organic dipping powder is cracking and some have a tint of black to them (white nails) . Regretfully, I'm being forced to pay additional money to get my nails fixed due to the subpar product used on my nails. It hasn't been 5 days and my $110 nails look horrible. I have several family members and friends who still live in EPTX . You can bet I will make sure all know about this salon. Do better or lower your prices. I've been coming here since 2020, when we moved here. I get dip nails and sometimes pedicure and eyebrow wax. I typically go every 4 weeks for my nails. The first time I went I called before going and was told dip nails were $45 and that included the removal of old dip. Then within 6 months I was paying for my nails and the price given to me was $50. I questioned it because it's always been $45 and the girl told me it's always been $50 because I had old dip to be removed. Then they started charging a fee to use credit cards 4 months after that so they don't have to pay the credit card machine company the fees, the client pays. And today was the last straw. The prices seem to never be the same no matter what you get done. Today I was charged $56 for dip, just basic dip one color nothing else. When I said why they were overcharging me today when I was there less than 4 weeks ago and the price was $51. The owner started saying it's always been $50 plus $5 removal. How shady is that. They do the work without telling me the prices changed. And then comes time to pay and the kid asked if I was paying cash or card and I told him card it should be $51 and he told me no my charge today was $56. I will NOT be returning here because they do not tell their regular clients there's a price increase before doing the work or even when making the appt. It seems the prices change depending on who the client is and not per service. $56 for basic dip is ridiculous and absurd! Other places charge $40-45 for basic dip and that includes removal of old dip. read more
