Hadn't been to an honest to God little collectors store like this in a long time. Reminded me of my childhood growing up in the 80s--early 90s. Had a great time talking with the gentleman there who had a good knowledge of the products and particularly his passion for vintage transformers. Got several cool items at a good price.. Some I didn't even know existed. He showed me around and we talked a lot. Customers came and bought and went while I was still there. Loved the vehicle outside converted to look like transformers ambulance. Highly recommend collectors stop by.

This is a cute shop to go in if you're in the market for anything anime. Also have some comic material such as Batman, Star Wars, and Thor. 4 stars only because was a bit frustrating that they wouldn't stamp my daughters reward card because they said it was from the Citrus mall location and they only stamp their location. Umm never had this issue between the Citrus and Premium Outlet locations since it's the same freakin store! But whatever. Took her stamp card from this location and hopefully the others will honor it. Also 4 stars because the girl at the register was just not friendly at all. Santiago is awesome, but the rest have no idea what's going on. Not even the owner. They never have what I need with regard to parts for common Traxxas and Arrma products, one will be in stock, but the others will not, even if it's a common item. The website is better (but don't try to order it for pickup, because they won't have it when you arrive). Shipping is like $3.99 for small orders though, and Amazon is cheaper if you have Prime because there is no shipping. The benefit to a brick-and-mortar store despite a slightly higher price is being able to get the item today. MyTobbies has the single largest selection in the Tampa area. The manager/owner is almost never there (unless it's the morning and only during the week so good luck with your warranty or a return if you buy something), and employees have to get verbal permission just to give you your money back. There used to be a bunch of great people there (Kevin, Jeremy, Tim, John, Wyatt) but they are all gone. Bottom line, there are better places. Here are a few I enjoy. I found them because they are the only local retailer I could find that carries Black Oak Workshop dice. The Black Oak Workshop dice were great (I got 2 sets) and they had lots of really beautiful dice sets from other manufacturers if you are looking to add to a collection. Also, they have a good diversity of in-store events like ongoing Dragonbane, Red Dragon Inn, and Shadows of Brimstone campaigns that are open for drop ins. The owners also are very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely will be going back!
