Then as we drove out we couldn't believe that the train museum was nearby with some great looking restaurants in the area. We will be driving back very soon to walk around the cool town, watch some trains, grab a bite to eat, and stop in to buy more legos.

I liked the selection of comics and graphic novels. They've even got a good amount of hard covers, which is how I collect most of my comics. They have a solid subscription system, with good discounts for doing the automatic charge thing. I might hit up my old comic shop for hard covers because they have a greater selection, but this shop is my new go-to for issue by issue comics.

I go out of my way to come here because the store has an awesome collection of Funko Pops. A whole wall in the store is lined with them. The employees regularly go to Comic Cons across the country, and get limited editions of the Pops, so if you know what you want, and put an order in ahead of time, they will try and get it for you. Most recently I was able to pre-order and then go collect both the "Chase" version and the regular version of the Goose the Cat Funko Pop. So cute! The store is very good about being active on social media, and regularly posts pictures and updates of new merchandise that has arrived.

I honestly didn't even know they had this many blind box brands. We perused for a bit and she finally decided on a few. The girl that helped us behind the desk was really sweet and let us know that they also do shipping if you shop on their online store, which was good info for us since it's a bit of a drive. Some of the blind box toys were $60-$100+ while others were in the $15-$20 range, so I'd say there's a little bit of something for everyone here as far as price point. Another really cool aspect was the trinket trading box outside of this store. I didn't ask for clarification on whether this is a established by the store or if someone just set it up there because this is a good spot for it in front of this type of store, but it was truly awesome. My daughter really enjoyed that, it was her first time doing trinket trading and she thought that was a special experience, she's already putting other trinkets aside for trading when we come back.

Our daughter lives Pusheen so it was great to find this place so close to us. They have all sorts of anime and pop culture products such as Hello Kitty, Gundam, and other cool toys, plush, and other fun things. You can even find some of the exotic candies you only find in specialty stores. For anyone looking for that bit of nostalgia or pop culture, you should check the place out. Might not have everything you are looking for, but a neat little shop!

Anyway, I was looking for Buffy the Vampire Slayer graphic novels. Specifically Season 8 which happens to be the canonical continuation of the TV series. It's no longer published by Dark Horse Comics, and I wasn't about to pay the crazy prices for the ones listed on Amazon. I couldn't find them at first, and had to ask. The store is full of all kinds of comic memorabilia including action figures and games. It was a little overwhelming until I asked specifically where it would be. I was led to a shelf full of Buffy. I found quite a few paperback volumes that I was missing, and they were reasonably priced. They are also having a 30 year anniversary sale this month. I was able to get 30% off the graphic novels. The staff was also friendly and helpful. It's just a great place to get those hard to find items.

He was thrilled that we found somewhere because he specifically brought cards with him in hopes of this exact scenario. Thankfully we had time to visit while he wasn't working. The store was well put together and the employees were phenomenal. A large amount of single cards as well as packs were available for purchase and were overall the main focus of the business. They were able to negotiate a deal involving a card which was awesome because that means less to take home with us haha. Other than trading cards they also had accessories related to trading card games (like playmats), shirts and even figurines. If you're in the area and love a good LGS, I'd recommend coming by.
