We were nervous at first but Zepyur immediately put us at ease with her warmth and openness. He is showered with love everyday by Zepyur, Marine, Mariam, and Andy, and he naps really well at his daycare so when we pick him up he's always in a happy mood. He used to be shy but since he started at Blooming Child we noticed he's a lot more comfortable around people. His social skills definitely improved from playing with the other kids. Zepyur and Marine sing and read to the kids a lot so our son's vocabulary improved and he has started learning the numbers and the alphabet. The daycare is at Zepyur and Andy's home so it's clean and safe and they take really good care of their facilities. If you're considering sending your baby to daycare, we highly recommend Blooming Child. Zepyur and Marine are like loving aunties and your baby will be in good hands!

It was taking my kid away from the best daycare in the entire Los Angeles area, Happyland daycare. I'd argue to say it's the best daycare in America, but I don't want to be seen as "over the top". (that's just my personality lol.) Anyhow, all jokes aside, as a first time mother with no family on my or my husband's side in the US at all, they were my village. Not only are they extremely fairly priced, but they took the best care of my baby. She was so happy to go to daycare every single day she always giggled and clapped her hands as we pulled up to Monika's door. The second that door opens, my daughter leaps into her or Olga's arms. You can't buy this feeling of safety and security. I know this and I didn't even have such high expectations going in. I was just a tired mom, desperate for help and a spare pair of hands to help me so I could get my life back. But Monika and Olga exceeded my expectations. I had no idea that they'd make this heavy of a mark in my heart because no nanny, daycare center or service I've had since has come close to their level of care. Their amazing meals (literally the best most organic foods available in the market), the art projects they did, the friends she made, it was so smooth and low drama and honestly not replaceable at all. Nothing comes close to Happyland. I wish I could move back to LA just to be near them, but alas I understand that isn't possible because of my husband's work. So I'll just have to leave this note, as a testament from one mother, to another; if you're reading this, your baby is safe and loved with them. Please consider Happyland over anywhere else, as I know what it's like to need this peace of mind. If you're reading this Monika/olga, thank you from the bottom of my heart. They absolutely love their teachers and caregivers, and are very happy at school. The director (Mr. Mike) and the teachers are wonderful people, who are fantastic with the kids. I have seen my own children grow and learn so much, and gain independence and confidence at Cal-Tot. My preschooler comes home daily excitedly telling me about something new she learned at school, or some fun activity she loved. I appreciate how the teachers send photos of my kids and notes throughout the day via an app, and all the communication from them at drop off and pick up. The parent community is also very welcoming and involved. So lucky to have this school downtown, near my office.

I remember one day, I came to school early to pick up my daughter Romy. All the kids were playing outside and Ali (the teacher) simply started singing a French song... and soon, one by one the kids lined up, singing with her and swaying as they walked back into the classroom. Then my daughters foot slipped out of her shoe. One child stopped the line, another grabbed the shoe, and another held her foot and helped her slip it on. I was floored. These kids love each other. And of course, they learn French & experience the the French culture. From baking zucchini & Parmesan together, to dancing the waltz with little French berets, our daughter loves this school and flourishes here. You will love this school.
