Now, a young college student keeps the landscaping looking clean and updated so when it was decided that the stone had some low areas needing some refreshing I contacted the nursery about supplying the stone. I was told to purchase it from Uniontown topsoil and mulch as it was not stocked by them. I stopped in to purchase the stone so it would be delivered the day the college man would be working on my clean up during his Spring break. Unfortunately, upon arrival the driver noted that I had ordered the wrong size stone and alerted me prior to unloading the truck. He was very concerned that the larger stones would not look right in my landscape and agreed to take his current load back and exchange for the correct size gravel. He returned promptly with the second load and did not charge me for the second trip and reloading. He was very conscientious, kind, professional and considerate. My son recommended Kustom Trim because of his good experience with them. I saw that they have great reviews everywhere. Not all tree services have good reviews- so do your homework! I wanted the tree and stump gone, no roots left, and stump grindings removed. We also wanted new topsoil there, grass planted, and a smaller decorative tree in that spot. Guess what? Not all tree companies will do all of that. In fact, the company that has trimmed that tree for years wouldn't even haul away the stump grindings, telling me that they don't have the time for it! -I certainly couldn't manage to do that stuff at my age. Fortunately, Kustom Trim does it all, and their price was the best I found for a reliable company. Owner Travis Kernik was friendly and accommodating, and his workers were meticulous in caring for my yard and my neighbor's. They raked and vacuumed up every last twig, and not one extra gouge could be found in the lawn. My neighbor's nearby garage was untouched. All surface roots were removed. Then, after a few Spring rains settled the ground, they returned to add new soil, planted the new tree and new grass. Every last employee was helpful and careful. Only when everything was completed and perfect did I get a bill in the mail. I was really worried that this project would be ridiculously expensive and would require work that I'm physically unable to do right now. Turns out that all I had to do was make a phone call, then write a check after the job was done flawlessly. And the price was very reasonable. I thought service like this was a dead art... wrong! These pros know what they are doing, and they get it right.
