I called this company today, September 22, 2026 to ask about bouncy house rentals…read more Before I go any further, I also left a voicemail about a week or two ago asking for a call back, nothing. The lady that answered the phone told me to call Jump City and asked if I wanted some phone numbers to other inflatable companies. Ok. Guess you don't want or need my business. I won't ask any questions. I'll just go elsewhere. Super weird. My advice, call someone else before calling here. Sounds like they don't want our business. In response to the manager: As a manager, YOU should have asked me all of those questions and found out what I was thinking of and about, before offering me to a different company. To immediately direct me to other businesses, is poor and came across rude. We never had a conversation. You didn't ask me one single question. Of course I'm ok with directing me elsewhere, I'm thinking you don't want my business.

They were late, interrupted our…read morewedding so they could get set up, argued with me (the bride), had an attitude, refused to draw my son as he was told "I have been up since 9 am and I am leaving", and only drew 8 couples in 4 hours. Heard from 2 couples that had theirs drawn that she was also rude to them and had an attitude. Also heard she drew very poorly and it looked nothing close to them. This is not how I wanted my guest to be treated at my wedding. Makes me sad. A waste of money! Then to get this response is very unfortunate... Response from the owner: Lies. I was 20+minutes early before start time. I only came to the reception not the wedding where it took me less than 5min to ask a relative of yours to request the Bride and Groom to ask where you wanted me to be. I was ready to go and waited ON-TIme. It wasn't until 20-30minutes after start time did some one make an announcement that I was outside of the dining hall. 1 by 1 people trickled out and I did them all just fine. It wasn't until the last 30min more people came out requesting it and by that point it was almost time to go (I told you this there). At the very end you asked me to draw 2 separate Caricatures for you quickly and I told to not quickly so that the quality wouldn't be compromised at that point. With your Aunt coming out of the reception area at the last 10min I told her I didn't have enough time because I was working on the 2 sets of pictures, one with your son in it(nice lady). I gave you the option of making one with Hume separately and you said, ok. It was all reasonable given this scenario

From exploring the many wonderful options on their website, to working with Lori to find the best option for our event, she made it interesting and easy. The contract was clear and I appreciated a "day of call" just to make sure we had all our questions answered. We had about 30 Cub scouts, aged 6-11 who all learned to twist balloons into animals and other shapes. Lori helped prep the adult helpers and easily managed to help each child just when they needed it. There were some pretty special smiles after learning a new skill. We had a lot of excited scouts and with so many other entertainment options available from A Touch of Magic Entertainment, we look forward to exploring more options for future scout events.

There were a lot of vendors selling all types of goods from jewelry, clothing, accessories, trinkets and more. They had some performances going on as well. They also had traditional games and crafts going on in one of the conference rooms. Generally something for everyone! The building itself was nice from the areas we were able to access. They had a gallery of native art which was really cool. Lots of parking and super easy to find.

Ten minutes well spent Might not be great most the time…read moreBut it is great now This review is not so much for the Bloomington Center for the Arts (not Bloomington Art Center as Yelp has it listed), but for the current exhibit that they have going on right now featuring the artwork of Thomas Fluharty. I actually probably spent more than ten minutes there. Call it twenty. If you are older than 30, you have probably seen some of his work at one time or another in your life. It has been featured on numerous magazine covers. Usually, caricatures of political figures seen on the front of Time, U.S. News & World Report, etc. He has also had work published in Mad Magazine and other periodicals. Much of his stuff will definitely give you a chuckle. My only complaint about the exhibit is there was not a ton of stuff in it. Just one smallish room with maybe fifty or so pieces and many of those being sketches and not paintings. In addition to the caricatures, there were many pieces featuring dogs, religious work and a few other odds and ends. If you are interested in drawing yourself, he will be teaching a class at the Center in August. Per his Wikipedia page, he currently resides in Minnesota.
