Rocky's is family owned. Although most of the original employees are no longer working there, it still remains a super community place in small-town New England. The employees are super friendly and eager to assist. The Ace Hardware affiliation means they can take advantage of a worldwide supply chain. Since the turnover, stock variety has visibly increased. Another addition to their offerings include online ordering. It was sad to see the old family move away. But if it had to, Rocky's is a welcome presence in the community.

Long story short, after 4 months, they increased the rent by $100. When I asked for a guarantee in writing she said I didn't need it. Stupid me. Oh, when I moved in (Plainfield location) there was a terrible odor of mold. I noticed Over My Space a patch in the ceiling as well as a dehumidifier. It was the only large space & I had a huge truck, so I took it. I recently went in to find my boxes knocked over, some tops crushed and new waterproofing down the back wall. Someone had clearly walked along the top screen of the unit, it was bent, knocked my things over to get to the affected area. Liz is denying everything and saying whatever happened has nothing to do with them and sent me an insurance form. Yeah, I'm seriously angry. Things happen, but have the elementary courtesy to own them and deal with whatever needs to be done! Don't store here !!

All the normal out of date, closeout and clearance items. Good clothing, appliances, tools, San Marzano Tomatoes, vacuums, international foods, bulk, you name it - it is here. They even have a separate building just for tools, and outdoor- yard type of stuff. This store is across the street from another discount store on Rt 12- the Discount Grocery.
