Employees are rude and lack knowledge of basic tools. I have been in multiple times. And it's the same case every time. On a previous trip I ask where I could find a hand file... the woman looked at me like I had 5 heads and then had to ask 3 people what a hand file was and where to find one. When you do ask for help they act like it is the biggest inconvenience. I would rather travel to the depths of hell before I spend one one cent in this joke. WARNING: NEVER, NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. AVOID at any cost. Period. I paid full price and did not contract for REFURBISHED machines. Which is what they are trying to force on me. They are dishonest, (bald faced lies from management), and not honorable. They take your money and then disown any responsibility for the sale including brand NEW MALFUNCTIONING MERCHANDISE after 24 waking hours. (48 hours) Both control panels on the Maytag/Whirlpool washer and dryer do not function properly, with video proof....must endure up to a full minute delayed start each time. PLUS the washer has several other issues...hesitant/false start of the drum, repeated clicking lid lock, not proper function, and once the washer danced off the platform indicating serious balance issues. AVOID all Whirlpool appliances...I was told they now ALL have the same control panel. Everyone knows this is unethical and just wrong. Save yourself a nightmare and potentially many years of costly repairs. Spend your money with a reputable company elsewhere who will appreciate your business. I would give zero starts if I could. I ordered a washing machine in the beginning of May, Needed a Saturday got a 6/4 deliver date. OK sucks but weekends are tough ok. 6/4 came we got rescheduled to 6/10. 6/10 came we got rescheduled to 6/20. 6/20 a Monday, had to take off work...truck brokedown we got no call and rescheduled to 6/28. 6/28 got a delivery time of 12-4, got home at 5 after 12... they came and went at 11:30am. They changed the delivery time in the system to 11:30-3:30 so they could say I wasn't here. I understand they use a 3rd party delivery company which is awful but seriously, take responsibility for your shitty subcontractors and get a new company to deliver. I will NEVER shop home depot again. I will pay more, travel further just to not shop there. FU HD! read more

I've had the worst experiences with this company. DO NOT trust their scheduling - we ordered 2 high end items from them, and had nothing but misery trying to get them delivered. I actually had to go get one of the items I purchased. In the meantime, I had a contractor waiting, and that cost me more $. Their reply was basically "too bad". We recently had a refrigerator break, and didn't even try to buy from this outfit. DO NOT trust their website for in stock items. You'll make a trip for nothing, or, like the latest case, get a call when you order online telling you they don't have it, and that it's going to be 3-5 days before they'll refund your money. Staff was nice and helpful. If they didn't know where something was they would just admit it. They do not carry micro flush cutters here. Felt like I was about to be robbed or stabbed when going to look for the item by a hobo looking customer who Beelined towards me but then backed off and lingered around the narrow, alleyway-like hardware aisle and paced looking around for me to come back after I left the aisle when I saw that. Needs more security cameras in each aisle. They are all up at the front by the cashiers. There was literally a clique of high schoolers blocking one aisle near the back of the store and every other aisle was either some shady hobo looking dude who will beeline towards you and back off when you leave the aisle quickly but stroll down the aisle multiple times and security was non-existent. Should invest in a local police officer to patrol the store since there are some shady looking people who actually squat down in the aisles and sit on the concrete floor for long enough that a random passerby like myself noticed this trainwreck of a store. read more

Do not purchase appliances or anything that requires delivery. They have been using Spirit Logistics for years even though they know they treat their customers disrespectful. I ordered an appliance beginning of July, it came in and was scheduled for August 24, they no showed, and they no showed the next time. The final time they were supposed to deliver, I was having a function and needed it delivered. They don't answer their phone they don't call you back. I left so many messages and day of the function I was told they were going to deliver next week. Now that is 3 times no show.. told them to keep it. I wasn't about to waste anymore time waiting for them. Home Depot's attitude is ya we know and oh well. So do yourself a favor and avoid stress and ordered from Baron's, lower price, excellent customer service and had the appliance in 3 days. read more

Don't use their carpet installation services unless you don't mind constant rescheduling. And when cancelled last minute for the second time the set it up for between 7 am and 11 am thr next morning. They called at 630 am to say they would be arriving at 7 and showed up 5 minutes early and almost ran over me and my dogs because they were driving up the driveway so fast. read more

I have been a customer of this Home Depot since they opened and almost never have had a problem until recently. It first started with a disrespectful employee working in lumber treating like I was a dumb female last year. I stopped going there until this week because I needed some things with everything that is happening. I ordered something shipped to the store and a pick up an order for curbside. First, we had to make two trips because I didn't notice I was missing the ship to store order. When we called to let them know we were there for curbside pickup, they said to stay at the contractor entrance. When we noticed that our order was probably at the other entrance we drove down there for pickup. One of the employees was chiding us because we were at the other entrance. I would not have taken issue with what he said, but he was rude and confrontational when I stated that we did what we were told to do. We had ordered a bag of cement and a bag of sand which they promptly ripped open and spilled while loading them into my SUV. I could live with that, but the true extent of incompetence was yet to be discovered. Two days after picking up the order, I opened a box that was supposed to have a chainsaw in it, NO CHAINSAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only things in the box was a large charger, the cover for the chain bar, and the chain just thrown in there with various packing materials. I would have bought back immediately, but the new store hours prevented that from happening. All I can hope for is that they give me what I paid for and not stick for the $359.00 I just spent for basically an empty box! read more

This is without a doubt the cleanest and most well organized Home Depot I've seen. It is obvious that management takes pride in establishing standards and therefore employees have an example to follow with resulting high morale and the follow on customer satisfaction. Entering here, the well stocked aisles, the cleanliness of the place, the staff attention and ease of finding items makes one eager to return. Perhaps it may qualify as the flagship of the HD chain. read more

I sat down with Harley at Claremont home Depot and he explained exactly what I needed to look at on the unit and buttons I needed to push and get the new remote to work. This Home Depot refused to accept my Florida drivers license that shows I am a Veteran, they told me that they thought the state did not know if I was a veteran or not. I even showed the cashier a copy of my DD 214, and still no discount. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was on a fork lift and could not take the time to talk to me! I guess that is why I fought, so he had the right to disrespect me. Last time I will ever set foot in a Home Depot. Lowe's has a site you register and once they verify your DD214 every purchase gets a 10% discount, no disrespect! read more
