Store hours are until 8pm. I went to buy a Bauer orbital sander on asile 1 and got there after work at 7:56pm. The man told us "I need to get the customers I have in here out by 8. We're closed." How ignorant and unprofessional the management staff is! I am disabled, I walk into the store and told the person behind the register that I had an exchange, the first words out of the managers mouth was "get in line" so after the 3 people in line went through I told the person behind the registration I had and exchange, she replied with bring your car to the front and we'll send someone to assist you bring in the exchange. After the product was bought into the store I had to once again wait in line of approximately 8 people to complete the exchange. I complained to the manager that I didn't appreciate having to go through the line twice, that the could have just told me to bring up my car and his reply was "I didn't know you had and exchange and i was with a customer and there was a line" and that was a lie because the first words out of my mouth when I walked in was I have an exchange. So this store is clearly not accommodating to the disabled and the management attitude is to say the least disgusting. Went to the centennial harbor freight and the ladies there were set on not helping me figure something out. They seemed like it would be a waste of time and when I mentioned a guy in the morning said differently (the common sense solution) they said they would have to have a talk with him??? I was very well attended to by the salesman. He spent his time to help me make a difficult purchase. It is likely that I would have passed on the cordless drill I bought, and an extra battery, if I had not had such personal service. I am currently working with HFT customer service to correct this, this is an extremely dishonest practice. At the register during checkout she told me my membership was expiring soon, so it was a good time to renew for a year. I didn't think I was a member so I told her so, and she repeated that she saw my membership expiring so I added it onto my transaction at the register. Afterwards, when I saw new emails with different deals, I inquired with customer service and they confirmed I never had a prior membership. First time I've had an issue like this at any HFT, but its a bad one and should be addressed. read more

Love this new location, close to the house, tons of parking. The cashier remembers us every time, even asks about our pets. They honor returns, and it's easy to find everything. I felt every much ignored and belittled I've come in twice to purchase a toolbox only to have my questions dismissed and ignored. SALUD! was a quiet little unassuming bar and restaurant in a convenient shopping center. The tacos and margaritas were much to my liking, and the wonderful server/bartender was always around to answer questions, serve food and drinks, and clear away dishes. The place was rather quiet and only a few patrons were dining at 2:30p. Friendly local policemen seemed to enjoy this place as well. This made me feel safe from all the obnoxious conservaturd antivaxers who I seem to encounter everywhere. While SALUD! does not boast the most delectable entrees , they do serve quick and tasty bar food items and specialty drinks which I really enjoyed. This was definitely a fun little bar. I cannot believe that HF sells the Bauer electric chainsaw and doesn't sell spare chains! Drove 20 minutes to buy a new chain for the saw I just purchased, and yep, no spare chains. I understood and apologized and began walking away as other people approached and she let them inside without any hesitation. Strategy for shopping at this location: Decide what you want before you enter. Once inside, move quickly. Brace yourself for the noxious fumes. Bring earplugs to dampen the horrible radio station blasting over the sound system. Try to find reasons not to shop here. I have no idea what the fumes are. It smells like smoldering industrial waste. I believe this store should be investigated by OSHA. I asked the cashier how she could tolerate her job. At first, she said, the fumes gave her headaches and sore throats. She eventually got used to it. She tunes out the awful music. I marvel at anyone's ability to tune out sounds suitable for torturing terrorism suspects. I urge Yelpers to have sympathy for workers stuck in awful jobs. It's her fault, some will say. There's nothing stopping her from getting a better job. It's not that easy. You don't know. Empathy is a trait severely lacking in some segments of the population. This store occupies the site of a former Sav-On store that stood empty for at least a decade. This strip mall has not been kind to retailers. So Harbor Freight doesn't have everything like a huge department hardware store has, but what is does have is at better prices than all the rest. We needed some basic things like tiny neednose, small flat wire cutters, sandpaper, etc for doing a project and for doing some of our vaping builds. We do the mechanical mod route of vaping which requires a little bit of building with wick and wire to vape on. We got everything for half the price here than what I see at other stores.. I just bought some sand paper from Home Depot for $6 a few days ago, it was $3.99 here for a bigger pack here to give you a comparison. Wire cutters were $2 versus $6 for a different pair elsewhere I was looking at. I don't know how long it'll last quality wise, but it's good enough just to cut a little piece of wire for me. I don't always need tools and we're not a handy man type household so I probably won't be here often, but if I do need a tool it's on the shortlist of places to buy from. read more

Do you need tools? This is my favorite place to go for tools. Harbor Freights prices are unbelievably inexpensive and the staff is friendly. I know they aren't the best tools made however a lot of those tools come with lifetime warranties so you can't go wrong with that. Not to mention that just about every week you get a 20% off coupon in the mail so when you take 20% off of the already inexpensive price you're getting a killer deal. They might not be the best tools for professional mechanic or Carpenter or something like that but for an average homeowner they are perfect. read more

Ok, they are cheap, but the quality on many items is lower than I had hoped, and certainly not "professional" as their commercials state. The quality of customer service varies greatly too. Some staff have been helpful but you see them once and then never again. They seem to be having staffing problems. After my last visit I think it might be due to the manager who was not communicative and even rude. They would not honor the 2 year additional warranty I had paid extra for. My husband received some gifts for Christmas that were duplicate or not needed. We returned them to the store and the manager (Candace) wouldn't approve us to receive store credit for them because we didn't have the receipts. DUH! They were gifts! I came to the store with a birthday gift that I received yesterday and i wanted to exchange it to something else and the first cashier I met said if was ok if i dont have the receipt and i could shop around for items that i want to exchange, thats what i did for an hour until i found the stuff i wanted. When i went to pay, there was another cashier named Joana and she asked me if i have the receipt and i said no but i did have the phone number of the guy who bought the gift, i gave it to her and i told her that i want to EXCHANGE the gift for the stuff that i wanted and right after i gave her the phone number, she REFUNDED the gift to the guy who bought the gift and the money went back to his card without his permission and without me asking her to do that, i told her clearly that i wanted to EXCHANGE and she refunded it. when i told her i didnt want that she said well there is nothing to do now... the money went back to the card. i asked to talk to the manager and the manager also said that they cant do nothing for their mistake. that is a very bad service, i asked for an exchange and she refunded the item and said that i cant do nothing now when its there fault. We came here today to purchase sand blasting materials (air compressor, glass beads, etc etc) to use on our pool. There were a couple of things we couldn't find (assuming the stock out front needed to be restocked from the back), so we asked the people who worked there multiple times for help. They kept acting like they'd send someone back to help us, but never did. We waited for an hour, and there were at least 3 workers doing nothing except playing with a visiting friend's puppy and pretending to find items that needed to be restocked.
