This is the most welcoming pharmacy I've ever been to. John and Mariana always greet me by name. They are very accommodating.

Absolutely love having a 24 hour pharmacy minutes from my house. I always look for one(just as a…read moresafety blanket) that has a pharmacy that is 24/7. I have been using this CVS for YEARS. The workers are so friendly and when you go all of the time at night, the night pharmacists get to know you. Particularly Mohammed. He is so nice and always says Hi and asks how things are. The only reason that I'm not giving 5 stars is because they for some reason took away the self-checkout. I am the type of person that likes it(I know that there are people that constantly complain about it) but there's usually on 1 register open(even during peak times) so it can take FORever to check out. Also during the night sometimes it can be hard to find someone to check you out and before you only needed to find a worker if there was an issue. I though that all CVS's were getting rid of self checkout, but the one in Bayside still has it so that's not the case. This has made me buy less things from here and more just prescriptions. Now accepts contactless pay as well as Apple Pay - yay!

I have been a CVS patron for about 5 years (when I moved to Long Island)…read more I'd like to begin with the fact that I NEVER leave negative reviews. With that being said, unfortunately, I have to change my own personal policies. I went into the 201 Glenn St., Glen Cove location and encountered an employee named Nicole. Not only was she extremely rude and dismissive over my an extremely simple location product. She specifically told me, she does not have the time for me nor my concern and needs. Although, I understand that perhaps "college students" do not honor customer service, there is a line that Nicole crossed. I would hope for all of the CVS locations, they receive better treatment than I have from Grace. CVS is a very important community staple. I would be deeply saddened if one employee named Grace, forces the community to seek more cooperative knowledge, respectfully staff to keep CVS running smoothly and continuing to be the "go-to" for all Long Island customers. Kindness and consideration go far, especially in a pharmacy.

I only hope others are never in the situation I was in on Monday morning. It was the day of my…read morefather's funeral and my mother was extremely sick with vertigo, (nausea, vomiting, dizziness) She could not get out of bed. We were able to get in touch with her ENT who prescribed some medication. However, try finding a pharmacy that will answer the phone and accommodate our needs immediately, not so easy. You see it was 8:00 AM and my mother needed to arrive at the funeral home before 10:30 AM. The ENT Doctor assured us if my mother could get the medication in her system it should start to work and she could be up on her feet in a couple of hours. Now I had to find a pharmacy that would contact the Doctor, fill the prescription and have it ready for me in minutes, basically impossible. So I thought. Well, Town offered the impossible. I called one hour before they opened, only expecting to leave a message. When miraculously, Alan picked up the phone. I explained the situation and received the exact response I wanted but never expected to get. "Give me the Doctors number, get here ASAP, knock on the door because the store will still be closed but I'll have everything ready for you". At 10:15 a.m. my mother was able to walk into the funeral home and say her final goodbye to my father. Thank you Town Pharmacy and Thank you Alan, A Real Life Super Hero.

How is that my wife and I had the exact opposite experience as all these people have had? Well, when the owners of said business decide to sell it two weeks after you enroll your prescriptions. So basically, you can pretty much disregard all of the reviews up until November 2025, as they were posted under Town Pharmacy's previous family-owned front. I don't know who these new guys are, but this place is as hot of a mess as it gets. Nobody currently working here seems to have any idea what they're doing. They consistently get confused. I've called three times asking to have the same two prescriptions refilled and delivered to my home. Each time, nothing was done. In one instance, someone answered and asked me to "Call my doctor to get the ball rolling" while he worked on getting my order. Uhh...isn't that what I just called YOU to do? The venerable icing on the cake was one morning when my wife called to order her insulin. She was told it would be delivered same-day. Gets a callback a little time later: "Sorry, it's too dark out. Someone will come tomorrow." It was 4pm. My wife and I were left speechless. Until, and IF, this place gets its act together, I'd avoid this pharmacy. Already, reluctantly, in the process of moving my scrips to Walgreens.

So why have I finally decided to write a glowing review about the members of this CVS pharmacy? Well, because on this Labor Day weekend, our adult daughter is staying with us, but unfortunately, she has forgotten to bring along her daily maintenance medication, and she hasn't been taking it for about three days. As a result of the abrupt discontinuation, she has experienced a variety of debilitating symptoms and has been feeling very much under the weather. So, on my wife's advice, I went to our favorite CVS store and asked the pharmacist on duty to please advance two pills for her so that she could resume taking her pills & start feeling better. "No problem", the CVS pharmacist told me right away with no further questions asked and instantly advanced three pills (without any charge)...just a friendly smile. Now that's what I call extraordinary service!!!!

I thought that was pretty bad but now I have Medicare and the place is right down the block so I get prescriptions there again. I had gone to Stop and Shop Pharmacy in the Wheatly Plaza Shopping Center and they were lovely and looked up Good RX for me on a number of prescriptions, never requiring me to do it myself. I just paid $50.00 more than I should have because the pharmacist at CVS did not want to bother. I think I will change back to the Stop and Shop. It is a longer ride for me but they are more interested in keeping my business. If you want the best deal on your prescriptions go to Stop and Shop instead of CVS

It ruined my whole experience and I never want to go there again. Plus I heard he's got a couple of felony charges, so I don't know why he still has a job there. Get better staff!!!!
