I would not recommend going for ice cream here. Really expensive for much smaller portions than other local ice cream shops. Every topping is an additional .99¢, and you get very little of whatever the topping is (for dry toppings at least). We all got like 12 sprinkles on our ice creams and it cost a dollar extra each. $23 for 3 ice creams that were somehow not that enjoyable. I don't think I've ever had bad ice cream before. We usually love Giffords but all of our ice cream was freezer burned and tasteless. Either the freezers are constantly left open, tubs are not getting scraped regularly, or the older tubs arent getting replaced when they should've been. It was strange. Great mini golf and ice cream shop. The course is extremely cute and nice. Wonderful decorations around the course. The staff is so friendly and nice. We had the smores milkshake and it was amazing. The outside of the mug had little marshmallows stuck to it. There were big marshmallows inside the mug with Graham crackers and chocolate. It was huge and delicious. Staff is very pleasant. Even tho it's a smaller course, each hole is interesting and somewhat challenging. FREE REPLAYS is a plus! If you're a die hard or 7 or 8 year old. There are so many mini-golf choices on the Cape, but Putter's Paradise is one of our favorites. Simple old school course with some charming hand carved figures along the course. If you're looking for bells & whistles it's probably not the course for you, but we've been happy to visit "Miss Tina" year after year. They have some great ice cream as well. read more

I love the course. So Capey with the buoy covered shack, the fisherman, the beluga whale spouting water out of its blow hole...tricky holes! Very fun! We drive all the way from Mashpee for this specific place. I even chose it as my birthday outing this year! ...and I must admit, I sleep in a Putters Paradise T-shirt at night. Nerd alert! I just wish they had some vegan options at their ice cream/smoothie bar! If that ever happens, I will upgrade to a 5 star review. read more

I was not pleased by the Ice cream what so ever, I mean don't get me wrong it was delicious. I got two Freak Shakes and I expected it to be $12 each one said $6 but in a bearily readable font it $14.99 and the my total was $30 and of course when my kid goes to order it there as for a small not knowing that it was one size and then treated my kid like they were dumb and didn't know what there talking about. Strangely amiable tiny putt-only course (no hit the clown's nose theme holes or gimmicks other than concrete and astroturf putts) that somehow manages to be more than the sum of its parts. In its favor, a giant spouting Moby Dick pursued by an out of scale dude in a rowboat (or vice versa?) and various salty figures dot the course, including a giant Ahab. Oh, the whale! The world! And there's a nice water feature coursing through the whole, although none of these things are actually incorporated into the holes. There are some nice older growth trees providing shade, and all of the holes are pretty short, so it's good for younger kids. It's mellower than the gigantic courses nearby with long sun-drenched lines. The holes themselves are a little bit of a mix of challenges, very old concrete pours, with the greens in varying states of upkeep, but the landscaping is kept up and the staff are nice. You can replay once for the $9 greens fee, but it has to be right away. The kids enjoyed themselves on it more than I thought they would, and the splashing of Moby Dick covers up the tremendous traffic noise from Route 28 to a degree. There are a decent number of benches on the course. It's not the greatest layout of any mini-golf course, nor the most challenging, but the combination of elements somehow makes it play a little more friendly than a lot of the ostensibly more involved courses about. In general, a good option if you're taking small kids and the grandparents on the same golfing expedition, as long as the latter can still get around OK. My Mom likes to bring my Dad here for ice cream after his medical appointments, so the ice cream gets their endorsement. read more

We had some time to kill, so we stopped at this adorable mini golf place for a round of golf. You can do two rounds for the price of one! Score! Each course was designed well and made it challenging, but very manageable. Had a great time here! It's owned by this lovely woman (and her husband). I actually adored the woman's brother, Walter. He was working the ice cream window (yes, they have ice cream!) and he's just the sweetest, friendliest, dearest person ever. He was so excited to let us taste test the ice cream and was actually involved with the decision-making. He even came out and wiped the tables and benches down for us. Is that not customer service or what?!? The ice cream is to die for. Every flavor I sampled was amazing. The SMORE'S and cotton candy ones were my chosen ones. Yum!!! Come on. No reviews for Putter's P (as we affectionately call it)? The big, white whale out front? The one that was stolen one time and moved? The free replay (best feature)? Ice cream out the back window when you're done? There are lots of oldish, local flavor-type elements like a lighthouse, a fisherman, and a big pink octopus to navigate your ball through. And it's never as crowded as those newer, fancier places nearby. This is my favorite place to play mini golf on the Cape. "The Whale" as we like to call it. This is the best mini golf place on 28. The course is challenging but will not make you want to go all Happy Golmore like the old Thunder Falls. The price is one of the lowest around You get a free replay You don't have to plan your night around "beating the lines" (::cough:: Pirates Cove ::cough::) This place is one of the oldies but goodies. Cute course, deceivingly hard. Very family friendly (tons of little kids on a Friday at 12:30) so we didn't feel bad playing with our toddler. It just kills me that they charge for kids under 5 ($7.50)! Every other golf place I've been, kids under 5 are free, and they'll happily give her a ball to hold (it's not like she's really "playing"). Annoying. The manager charged my credit card after telling me it was declined for a party of 4($40). I only noticed when I was charged an overdraft fee. After calling the manager and owner multiple times I was only refunded $15 as a "very generous offer". I was very upset and I told the owner I was going to tell all my friends and family how terribly unprofessional it was handled and to give a poor review. He threatened me with his attorney. Nothing too fancy, but a short walk around the corner from our motel. Games were about 7 to 9 dollars a round per person, and the lady at the window was friendly. Afterwards they gave us a dollar off per person coupon for next time. We also got ice cream. Cheapest ice cream so far in Yarmouth (and we've been making the rounds!) At 3.83 for a small which is really two scoops. The usual selection of flavors, and they have a kiddie size which i didn't seen on the menu but the girl offered as an option. read more

While down at the Cape for a week we walked from our beach house to this place. Ice cream was AWESOME! The next day we went to some other place almost across the street and it sucked! Then we went to another place called...well I don't wanna name names but it rhymes with "vape rod scenery". We ended up coming back here later in the week as the ice cream was that good. Definitely try the "Maine Black bear" and "Moo-slide" flavors. Also mini golf is reasonable and you get a second round for free. Prices for the ice cream aren't bad either. Very friendly staff! Coming here for so many years, thought I would write a review of it. This place is my favorite on the Cape, primarily for the great deal you get. Two plays for the price of one, which is also cheap. This course is quite challenging. A little bland in decor, but still impressive. Not many people come here, so you won't have to wait long before playing a hole. Very appealing whale and sailor. This place is horrible. The person at the desk is miserable and doesn't want to be there. We barely got any words out of him. He just told us what we owed him. We started the course and all the "green" is mismatched. Bring nose plugs because as you go through the course you will start to notice the delightful smell of cat pee...gross. For their ice cream... we never played miniature golf... we're not the athletic type... but we surely know our ice cream... at least we thought we did. They serve Gifford's ice cream, which meant nothing to us, other than that it's delicious and tasted better than any other ice cream we ate on the Cape (saying a lot considering how much ice cream we ate on the Cape...). We have now discovered that Gifford's is the Official Ice Cream of the New England Patriots and is sold our local grocery stores in NYC... We haven't had a chance to try it from the store yet but I'm sure it tastes better when it's fresh from Putters Paradise. read more

This is a classic themed mini-golf course with nautical decorations, including a giant spouting whale and a sailor in a comically flooded rowboat. The course is medium difficulty and we saw players of all ages enjoying the course. It was getting late when we finished so we didn't try the ice cream but it's an option. read more

Nice time. The guy that runs it is super nice, and funny! The corse is kept well and we had fun. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because i personally like courses that have more obstacles on the greens. There was only about four wholes that had some sort if obstacle on it. There is something to be said about old school places like this. Last night we brought my 3 year old for her first mini golf experience, and she really, really loved it! This is a great place for families with little kids. They offer smaller clubs for the little ones and it isn't so packed with people where we felt pushed along. Yes you could go down the road and wait on line for the the visually stunning, fancy and super packed Pirates Cove or one of the new places..that may be a better experience for people looking for bigger..better, but this place is a perfect speed for young families and really serves a purpose for our demographic. Lot's to look at for my 3 year old as well. They also have ice cream right on the grounds (which we got) and the second round of golf here is free. My 3 year old wanted to play again so we did.
