We left Haverstraw marina around 6:00 AM on Saturday 8/6 and arrived to Pilots point about 6.5 hour later. From the moment we got there to the moment we left 2 days later I was nothing but impressed with the dock hands, the dock master and the marina. Beautiful clean bathrooms, BBQ all over the place, nice pool, brand new club house and all around great facility. I want to mention again the dock hands that unlike in other marinas actually know what they are doing! Also they were all very nice and friendly. The marina have deep water so I hat was not an issue as my boat draft 4.2 foot. We got slips right by the fuel dock and there was plenty of space for all 4 boats. The fuel dock is by far the busiest fuel dock I have seen. We will surly be back to Pilots point!

We even had a chance to speak with the mechanic, John, who is a Yamaha certified master technician. He listened thoroughly and was very understanding and knowledagable. They fixed the engine up within the quoted time frame and gave a very detailed report which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend this marina, especially if you have a Yamaha outboard. We normally DIY, but will be back to get yearly service done here.

Just returned from a 3 day getaway . We had a terrific time…read more. We had a king/ waterview room . It had a balcony overlooking the marina . The view was great and there is a fountain in the water that lights up in different colors , that was really amazing . The service is impeccable all around , everyone is polite and helpful . Unfortunately the indoor pool area was closed but we knew that in advance . Spa treatments were great . We'll definitely be back , but probably when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the outside . Highly recommended .

My first review was too long, basically a professional mechanic that's willing to work on outdated…read moreinboards is tough to find so Scott gets credit for taking on the job I bought I bought a boat from a guy based off of phone conversation so I'm lucky I was able to start it and drive away. Barely the boat had major issues was actually in danger of sinking thank good Scott fixed all the bilge pumps and checked everything but there's some issues. They're just too much like a pitted rusted after cooler that eventually linked frozen seacock was never serviced with my fault for not checking service records. If ever buy an old boat make sure those service records are complete. Make sure they change that impellers and the bolts have all been lubricated especially seacock. The saltwater flushing for those engines and if it gets stuck in there the engine could get ruined quickly. This place had a lot of parts and it didn't they'd find it for you. They were very expensive but basically it comes to this : unless your a multi. Multi-millionaire not just a millionaire a multi-millionaire don't buy a boat unless you can fix everything yourself because a million bucks isn't going to save you

these guys took $16000.00 from me back in March of 2022 they were supposed to pull the engine out…read moreof my boat and get it rebuilt. when I gave them the money in March they said they would start the job I shook Scott the owner hand he said you'll be all set by may. We'll at the end of may since hadn't heard from them in 2 months I tried calling them I kept leaving messages with Scott the owner to call me and let me know where we are at with the project never got one phone call so I had to go up there in person from busy schedule and come to find out they didn't pull the engine out all. I was pretty upset but kept my cool. So I went into the office and asked for Scott they said he's in the yard it took 30 min of me standing there before so one finally came to talk to me. now you think Scott with come talk to me since he's the guy that took my money but nope he wasn't man enough to face me he sent his lackey mike up who by the way is not an honest person. I said to him you can't call me and let me know what's going on good or bad news. he apologized and told me they would start the job in June which was unsatisfactory but stupid me I'm a nice guy and said okay. here we are 3 months later I paid these clowns in full and still no boat in the water they have had the rebuilt engine for 10 days now and still no work had been done to my boat. if you like getting ripped off and screwed over hire these clowns. I noe have an attorney involved and I will be made while I also lost $5000 for a slip I never got to use this summer.
