The salmon with roasted tomatoes and Parmesan foam was cooked perfectly, and the flavors worked together without feeling heavy. The sea bass beurre blanc was another solid choice. We also ordered fries with a Gouda crème dipping sauce, which were hard to stop eating. For dessert, the chocolate tartelette was rich and easily enough for two to share. A really strong start to the trip and a place we'll definitely remember.

The "Waag Crostinis" is *exactly* the amount of food and the taste that I was looking for. Raw meat, raw fish, white stuff.... how can you go wrong? Paired with a large beer, I was very happy. The sun was shining, that might make some happy, but it's a miracle I didn't fizzle into ashes. I'd liked to have eaten inside for a proper dinner, but because of a wonky schedule and an hourglass with its precious sand particles falling away, this was my only chance to eat here.

It's great for getting to try a lot of things! The servers here work really hard, during the dinner rush there was only 2 of them, therefore be a little patient! The wait is totally worth. Also, make a reservation if you can, they are very popular. (It was packed and we arrived 20 minutes early for our table) We ordered oysters, lobster, seabass (whole), scallops, green salad, bread, and at the end, french coffee. The highlight of the entire dinner were the razor clams. Absolutely unbelievable and a must order if you ever visit and it's on the menu! The coffee was extremely dark and we didn't finish any of it. But, being American, we probably should've known better and researched before we ordered. The creme brûlée was also very enjoyable! (Side note: all the creme brûlées I had in Europe were pre-made and not hot when they came out. Europe tingz?) The bill didn't come out to be outrageous at all and basically all we ordered was seafood... how? All in all, the perfect dinner to end my birthday. I'll be dreaming about this place for the next few years until I visit Amsterdam again.
