Debated between a two and three star rating but finally gave it the three stars. It did after all, meet my expectations but then again, my expectations were not that high. Left Denver NC a bit before 7am on my way to North Myrtle Beach to meet up with my Daughter and her extended family with the aim to celebrate her 50th Birthday. Coffee I had brought with me was long gone and since I had not eaten Breakfast, decided to go through the drive through and get a Sausage Biscuit and a Large Cup of Coffee. I was at this place the other day with some coworkers. It was 10:58 AM, and we asked the lady at the front when they start serving lunch. She told us 'in 2 minutes,' so we sat down to wait while one of the guys used the restroom. She mentioned the guy on the grill needed time to finish the breakfast orders. Here's the thing--this place was practically empty. There were maybe 2 or 3 people already eating, and there was no line at the drive-through. By 11:15, we went back up to the counter, and she told us they don't serve lunch until 12. I asked her, 'But you said 11 at first,' and she responded, 'I did say that.'" Worst service EVER. Went through drive thru otw to myrtle beach. She asked if we wanted to try the new chicken, we politely declined and ordered 2 meals. Silence for a few minutes. We arent the type to be rude, in fear of getting our food messed with, so after complete silence, we said that was all we wanted..Silence still. Finally after another few minutes she comes back on and robotic-ally apologizes. We pull up to the window and find out she missed a meal. We ask nicely if she got the other. She doesnt say anything, no sorry, just rings it up. Tells us to pull ahead. We wait for 10 minutes for our food. Keep in mind we have been driving 14 hrs and are still nice, even though she's meaner than Satan and the vehicle behind us is served after 2 minutes. If there was any justification for not raising the minimum wage for fast food workers, this is it. On our way to Myrtle Beach several different cars in our party stopped here not knowing anyone else did and we got the enjoyment of spending the next 5 days talking about our different experiences. This is the dirtiest eating establishment I've ever entered, ever. We stopped on the way back from Myrtle, because we saw they had a playground. And once we got inside and saw the flies and dirty floor, grime and I don't know what smeared on the walls..., we couldn't leave because my kids had already hid themselves inside the playground. The first thing I noticed when I walked into Hardee's was that it was littered with hood rats and street youths. I felt as if I was walking in on a crystal meth transaction. While I was standing in line, the cashier and chef were engaging in playful banner which led me to believe that they were in a inappropriate workplace relationship. As I ordered my food, the dirt squirrel cashier engaged me and my friends in a flirtatious manner. I ordered my food and waited for a very long time. As I waited, I noticed that the highly obese man making my food was not wear any gloves, which was a huge problem because his fingers have undoubtedly been in his bellybutton and/or rectum in the last 24 hours. wow terrible experience. this morning went to drive thru sat there 2 mins with one car in front of me no one ever responded to help the lady so i decided to go in . as i walked in one employee walked out not even good morning. I actually was reviewing comments when I come across one where an error was made !!! The comment slammed Hardee's with the playground equipment on how the inside was filthy the food was terrible, and the service sucked!!! ONE SLIGHT PROBLEM!!! Hardee's in Chadbourn does NOT have playground equipment , However BURGER KING across the street does have playground equipment. Just needed to point out when someone is going to take the time to write a negative comment slamming a restaurant....... Please take the time to get the correct name of the establishment you are slamming so by all means the credit goes to the right place! If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. It was extremely dirty inside to start with. The food took extremely long to cook. We waited at least 20 minutes for my daughter's cinnamon rolls and at least 15 minutes for the rest of our food. We were in line for at least 15 minutes as well. By the time we actually received our food it was already cold, however, we ate it cold anyway as we were heading home from our vacation. No one seemed to have any sort of organization going on whatsoever. Our kids enjoy Hardees at home so we stopped, but this is absolutely the WORST Hardees and restaurant I have stepped foot in. I'm glad I won't ever need a reason to go back! read more
