Returning for North Myrtle Beach after a fun afternoon celebrating my Daughter's Birthday and it's getting late and I'm not going to get home till after 7pm. Stopped on the way down at the Hardee's across the street for Coffee and a Sausage Biscuit and decided to pull in and get one of my regular Double Whopper with Cheese and Unsweetened Iced Tea. It was a little after 4pm so the drive through was not bad and service was good. The burger was excellent and much better than the same fare I have been getting in the Statesville area. Not dried out and full of flavor the the tomato was nice and flavorful and did not have the taste and consistency of cardboard. This one get's it right. You don't usually see many fast food places 5 starred, but the staff is always soooo pleasant here and our food is always fresh and quick!

It's Burger King. You know what you're getting and so, of course, it's fast and delicious. But today it was Burger King during the COVID19 pandemic. Employees were all very polite and helpful but what was most impressive was how they were handling this public health emergency. Plexiglass shields were hanging neatly in front of all the cashiers. Every single employee was wearing a mask and gloves PROPERLY (and that is often not the case these days) and the entire place was impeccably clean. They were taking extra effort that I'm not sure was appreciated by many of the customers who came in acting like it was just another day. Well, it's not just another day and this customer felt great confidence in the efforts put forth by everyone. Oh, and the food. . . of course it was hot and delicious. Thank you! Shirley was working the drive through and she was delightful. Ordered the new Impossible Burger and it made our wait time a little longer, but it was delicious and worth it. Fries were piping. hot. They were piping hot, people. The 2 bacon burgers my children ordered were fabulous. The only downside was a 4th whopper was pretty messy. Next time we'll get it without the mayo. READ BEFORE ORDERING!!!!!! Not sure if it was ----handa or if it was someone under her register but the younger & older(50+) cashiers that I dealt with in drive-thru there were the ABSOLUTE WORST "Order-Takers" EVER!!!!!!! Not only did it take a unnecessary amount of time to place the order due to the cashiers lack of knowledge but she couldn't even count change right. SMH!! The items that I ordered were generically simple items. Items that they have had on the menu since I wore a hospital bracelet as an infant. So I'm really not sure if it was her lack of knowledge or if it was the lack of care the other reviews on here have stated this BK location to have so oftenly. Bc the same atmosphere was here the last time I stopped as well!! So this time is my fault. lol I really SHOULD HAVE read the reviews before ordering. Would have saved me from taking a bite out of a yo cold to serve and unnecessarily thrown together cheeseburger. Bottom line is... all would be well if people went to work and did their jobs. I just never get why employees act like customers are the ones that are inconveniencing them, by showing up to the place they filled out the application to work at. Worst Burger King, ever.... Staff is rude and don't want to be there. You wait forever on your order, after waiting forever to place it, and your food ALWAYS arrives cold. Burgers are thrown together and VERY messy. No pride shown by anyone at what they were doing, or maybe I should say NOT doing. Bypass at all costs, it's not worth it. I pulled up and there were at least 5 employees outside. I instantly thought "who to is cooking or even working". These bums took 10 minutes to make a sausage egg cheese croissant and pour a large coffee. Only gave me 1 sugar packet on top of that after I asked for cream and sugar. She assured me it would be in the bag. I was asked to pull up to a post blocking everybody behind me. After waiting 5 minutes someone behind me ordered got their food right away. I had assumed it was the person taking a while to order but then when i pulled up it took forever to get someone (it was not busy by any means) then I placed my entire order & then the woman asked me to hold on a minute. She gets back on a couple minutes later & asks me to repeat my entire order. Then when i ordered a oreo milkshake she said "how about vanilla?" insinuating that she didn't want to make me the oreo shake. Got to the window waited ten minutes for a burger fries & "milkshake" which was just vanilla ice cream in a cup. Wow. A visit I'll never forget, but not for the good reasons. I started my time off in the bathroom. As I went to cleanse myself after defecating, I realized the paper that I was wiping my buttocks with was only one-ply. Also the stall doors were littered with curse words. I then ordered my food and proceeded to wait 25 minutes for the Burger King staff to prepare Chicken Fries and 10 chicken nuggets. As I was waiting in line for my food, I saw a flock of Dirt Squirrels swarming around an adolescent man wearing all camouflage. I immediately lost my appetite. I then noticed the playhouse located in the back of the restaurant. I went to go play in it with some adorable little kids only to be told I was, "too old". BS. However, I was happy to find out that the restaurant held a 98% Sanitation Rating. 5 Star Dirt Squirrels. 2 Star Establishment. read more

We stopped in at this lovely establishment on our way to myrtle beach as options were very limited. I am not a fan of burger kings as they are known to be slow and filthy and this store did not disappoint. It took us at least 20 minutes to place our order and another 10 for our food to be ready. I was happy to see the cook placed the tongs she dropped on the floor into the sink after being asked at least 5 times by the manager. They scored a food rating of 93 which for the uninformed means this fine establishment scored just above being shutdown for unfit conditions. I didn't see that until my food chilling on the counter. After finishing our food as quickly as possible I found brown ooze of my child's fry packs which In guessing was barbque sauce as the person before me order barbque strips... And if it wasn't I hope he doesn't come down with anything funky. To close, avoid this place like the plague... Hold out for a mcdonalds a few miles up the road and stop only here if your lower intestinal tract is about to burst and them hover... Don't sit. read more

Stopped in on our way to see family near Wilmington. Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews for rude customer service because they were extremely nice to us. At the drive thru they took our order promptly, we got our food quickly. The lady taking our order was sweet (kept calling me baby, that might bother some, didn't bother me). We forgot to ask for salt and ketchup so I parked and walked inside. As soon as I walked in the employees yelled out "Hi! Welcome to BK!" The lady gave me a small bag filled with salt and ketchup. Told me to have a nice day with a smile. There was an employee sitting at one of the tables - perhaps on her break - she told me to have a nice day and thanked me for coming in. Also, I used the bathroom and it wasn't spotless but it wasn't disgusting. Maybe the manager read the previous reviews and had a talk with his employees. I'd stop here again. read more

We stopped thru on a family trip to Myrtle Beach the past Monday. The food was good but the cashier was not in a great mood. She didn't greet us or even had a smile on her face. Clearly looked like she wasn't happy to be at work. But the worst part was the filthy bathroom. Women's I should say. Disguising! The hand dryer all rusty! Toilets dirty with toilet rings around them! Soap dispenser with no cover! They sink was dirty too. But what tops it all is the fact one of the toilets was slightly moved off the foundation! So when I flushed the toilet you can see water coming out the floor! I recommend just go through the drive thru! read more

First, I would like to say the female manager, i wish i would have gotten her name, who was working around 5:00 on the evening of 11/11/15, was an absolute blessing to me. I was traveling to Charlotte, NC when i was found myself lost, without cell service. I randomly chose this restaurant to stop, hoping I could charge my phone and figure out where i was. When i walked in, the employees told me it was absolutely no problem to charge my phone and showed me where the plug was. The manager then came over, i thought she might have an issue with me being just posted up in the booth charging my phone, but she was soo nice. Extremely nice and helpful! She joked with me about how she had gotten herself lost recently and offered directions. She also went above and beyond my expectations, and customer service, by offering me her car charger so I would feel more secure driving the 3 hours home. I tried to refuse, but in the end she walked out to her car and gave me that charger, telling me to take it and have a safe drive. This woman was my angel that night. I was so thankful i chose to stop at the Burger King in Chadbourn. Yeah this wasn't about food, but she definitely gave 110% in customer service. read more
