11/30/25 Drive-thru 3:23 p.m. Food: The burgers tasted great, even though they looked a mess lol. Our fries were hot and crispy, too. We also got a kids' meal, which was really good. Our daughter loved the chicken strips. Service: One of the employees that handled our order was really sweet. She was polite and patient. She was also understanding when my husband had to go back inside for the sauces that were forgotten. Ambiance: The interior wasn't a mess, but it wasn't clean either. I don't know how else to describe it, really. There were only 3 employees working, and they were trying their best to make sure everything was done correctly. I'm giving 4 stars because the location should've been managed better. I know it's tough trying to keep people hired on right now, but during a busy time of day, they needed more help. My friends and I stopped here on our way home from Minneapolis. We were all hankering for some breakfast after a long weekend of being adults so we decided to stop here and grab some grub. We were the only customers inside but it took a bit to get all of our food, (three separate orders.) It didn't bother me that much though. The food came out hot and fresh and tasted good. It took 18 minutes to make a ham sandwich, a frisco, and fries, half of which were cold. And we got that after seeing an employee handle paper money, then grab a large handful of fries. That employee did not wash their hands. read more

Growing up, the old Hardee's advertising jingle was: Hurry on down to Hardee's where the burgers are charcoal broiled. In my case a few days ago, I was driving from MSP to Ames and a late lunch was on my mind. This Hardee's is conveniently located off I-35 and after a short wait for a new batch of fries to come out, I was back on the road again relatively quickly. As Hardee's burgers are related to the Carl's Jr. variety, the more basic the burger the better, as I don't really enjoy drips landing on my pants while driving and dining. As for the meal itself (1/4# cheeseburger, fries, and lemonade), it's what you would expect for fast food. Nothing less, and certainly a little more due to the late fresh fries consideration of the Hardee's employee and the associated curb side delivery (hence the extra star). read more

The service is no good at all. Aa deaf person, I also have the right to do drive Thur like everyone. I already typed my note to make order meals. The worker try kept give me someone else's order but I try explain to cashier that I am deaf and I would like order food. for many times. it happened again at 2:45pm on 9/15/23. Faribault is well known for deaf friendly community. It was not busy when I enter the drive Thur line. I was second car in the line and there was no car behind me. I tried order my food last week and I ask for no pickle cuz I am allergic to it. but they still put it in anyway. I wish the workers become more respectful towards to someone that different than them and listen the customer's allergies order. read more

Honestly we love Hardee's we stop at least once on the way down or back up to the cities on our trip to my in-laws in Fairmont and we absolutely love the food. Our orders been messed up more than once or it would honestly be 5/5 for us. The chicken strips are amazing and hot and fresh every time and you honestly can't get better curly fries anywhere else in my opinion. They're crispy and have great flavor and the times then accidentally give us the regular fries we aren't even all that upset because they have fantastic fries too! read more

Worst service ever. I ordered chicken filet and bacon cheeseburger. The chicken patty was 1/2 less of the bun size. Very tiny meat. The bacon cheeseburger has no bacons! Waste of money and I will never go back there again. read more

Drove 45 minutes out of our way because a member of our party insisted he had to have their chicken fried steak breakfast. They don't have a chicken fried steak. The food is hot, fresh, and as expected as a burger joint. The service was surly and condescending. read more

We stopped at this Hardee's on the way during a family trip and one of my kids really wanted Hardee's for breakfast. It was very convenient to get in and out off of the freeway. I wish I could give this location five stars because the food was great and the manager was as nice as possible and the place was extremely clean. Unfortunately that morning none of the staff showed up for work ( seems to be a trend nowadays but a subject for a different time). The manager was running all aspects of the store alone and warned us it would be a while before our food was ready. We decided it was worth the wait and about a half hour later we received our order. I am not a local and I don't know how regularly something like this happens there, but the store didn't show any other signs of systemic issues. read more

This place has had a recent remodel so the inside is clean and fresh, not rundown like many older restaurants. They have good food and good service. I also noticed older staff at this store, not a lot of kids learning with your food. We either drive here for our Hardee's fix from Farmington or the Midway area in St Paul, but we like this drive and location mush better than the inner city location. This place is just off of the Interstate 35 Faribault exit. There is also a Super America nearby to fill your car/truck at the same time you stop to fill your belly. read more

After years is a steady customer they've lost me for good. Horribly slow service on a Sunday morning. Who's open for breakfast and doesn't have the basics ready?? I always end up here to grab a cup of joe on my drive back to Iowa. Coffee is average but it's serves its purpose. I just wished Hardee's worked on their coffee. Next time, I'll try and make it as far as Caribou Coffee in Owatonna to get a better cup of joe:) Otherwise, it helped me get through the long drive back home so I can't diss this place. read more

As far as fast food goes, you can't beat Hardees Mushroom Swiss! Food was hot fresh and fast.

Recently this place has gone off the deep end, from cooking food in burnt oil that should have been changed out, to incomplete and incorrect orders. They also have been extremely slow in getting your order through drive thru. It would one thing if your food order was right and the food was cooked properly. In the past few years I have had a couple of times where it took longer than expected or there was a mistake in the order, but that does happen sometimes at fast food restaurants. The problem with this place, is management does not care at all for customer satisfaction, as of recently. There is no reason that every time I go there the food taste old, the order is wrong, and have to wait over 20 minutes in drive thru for fast food. Ownership needs to make immediate changes. read more

We love how friendly the staff is at this location. They are great and helpful! I would give them 4 stars, however, there have been several times that we have gotten apple pies that have been fried after onion rings. There is nothing worse than biting into an onion flavored apple pie! read more
