This quite possibly could be the worst restaurant I've ever eaten. Not only was the restaurant absolutely empty, because others probably know the problem here, but it took me 12 minutes to get an order of onion rings and a big cheeseburger. The food is in the photographs below. The big cheeseburger looks like a McDonald's small hamburger. The onion rings were burnt and covered in so much hard breading that you couldn't even taste the onions. The oil that they were cooked in was absolutely terrible. I don't have big expectations when I go to fast food but this was just terrible. The place looks like a combat zone with the paint peeling off the walls too they can sure use a coat of paint. If you want your restaurant to be attractive to people it's got to be someone attractive itself.

I can't say enough to stay away from this Hardees. I liked Hardees at one time. Now, I have given this Hardees multiple chances and have been disappointed every time. I can't believe it's the whole organization, but apparently, they don't care about this one for whatever reason. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich combo and a Frisco burger combo. After, I got home and separating the buns looking for the chicken, I found the smallest piece of chicken competing with the size of the pickle and certainly not even close to crispy. My wife tried to eat it anyway, but threw it in the trash and said it tasted like burnt fish. Also, the Frisco burger was not cooked at all with half the bun was tourn off. What a disappointment spending my money to get this joke of food. I'm done to never return to any Hardees.

When we first walked in nobody else was there, so we were greeted immediately and given a nice booth. The inside surprised me... very cozy, nicely decorated and just fancy enough without feeling stuffy. There's also a bar outside, but we were there for the food. The lady who seated us told us about their $13.99 hot plate lunch special. We could order from the regular menu, but being able to sample a bunch of different things sounded like the way to go. I also really liked that the food is kept behind the counter where you can see everything and they build your plate for you. It isn't a buffet where everybody is reaching into the same trays. We started with their lentil soup, and I seriously wish they had given me a bigger bowl. Lots of flavor with a nice little kick. From the hot plate we tried butter chicken, Dal Makhni, samosa, Paneer Tikka, garlic naan, basmati rice, their Indian-style fried rice, grilled onions and peppers, along with the chutneys. The fried rice was especially good and had way more going on than the plain white rice. The stars for me were the Dal Makhni, samosa and butter chicken. The Dal Makhni honestly wasn't the prettiest thing on the bar until it was on my plate, and I probably wouldn't have picked it on my own, but I'm glad she suggested trying a little of everything because it was fantastic. Big flavor and a good kick. The butter chicken had a slightly sweet sauce but was packed with flavor. And that Paneer Tikka caught me completely off guard... buttery, lightly browned with such a good texture that I actually saved my last piece for the final bite. The chutneys were great too, especially with the samosa. The same lady who greeted us kept checking on us throughout the meal, and another lady who appeared to be helping prepare the food came over to see how everything was. We told her exactly what we were thinking... excellent. We also watched people behind us order from the regular menu and those portions were huge. I had a few doubts before we walked in, but between the food, the atmosphere and the service, those disappeared pretty quickly. We had seen the five star reviews and the recognition they've received locally, and after eating here I understand it. The lunch special gave us exactly what we wanted... a chance to try a little bit of everything and leave thinking, "Yeah, we need to come back and try more." Five stars from me.

By the time you get your order, you've had enough time to reconsider your life choices, learn a new language, and watch civilization evolve. The drive-thru isn't a line--it's a support group. Everyone in their cars shares the same thousand-yard stare as we collectively wonder if we've accidentally entered a time dilation experiment. The staff somehow manages to move with the urgency of people trying not to wake a sleeping cat. Every order seems to require a full committee meeting, followed by a ceremonial coin flip to decide what actually ends up in the bag. The impressive part isn't that the food takes forever--it's that after waiting long enough to qualify for residency, they still manage to get the order wrong. It's less of a restaurant and more of a mystery box subscription. I've genuinely started using this Wendy's as a benchmark for patience. If someone can survive this drive-thru without losing their sanity, they can probably negotiate world peace. This location has achieved something I didn't think was possible: it makes DMV visits feel efficient and relaxing. The food itself isn't even the biggest issue. It's the complete absence of urgency, organization, or any visible indication that anyone involved believes customers would like to leave before retirement age. I only keep coming back because it's one of the few options nearby, which feels less like customer loyalty and more like being trapped in an emotionally abusive relationship with a Baconator. Five stars for consistently lowering expectations. One star because Yelp won't let me leave a negative number.
