Best burgers in the fast food industry for the east side of the states. They have in n out in California we have five guy in Florida. You get free peanuts and as many condition your burlas you want. They give you so many fries that one order is enough for two. Their shakes are also some of the best out there. The hot dogs are also amazing, don't know what else I can say about this place but just go get some I guarantee you will love it. read more

Good, fresh burgers made to order. Not the best burger ever, but definitely better than fast food and even some restaurants. I think it's cool that their drink machine has a hands free option if you use a QR code on your phone, and most impressive of all: the ketchup pumps are available!!!!! What?! Like eat all the ketchup I want post 2020! You read that right. I am soooooooo sick of going to places and asking for ketchup only to receive 3 packets as if that's enough for anybody. They also have malt vinegar packets. Fry portions are huge. I prefer a burger with one patty so I always get the "little burger" but with the fries it's more than enough. I just don't get it! I had to order 2x today because my first order was completely wrong. The manager said we got someone else's order .... however, my receipt that had my order listed was on my bag .... anyways, I ordered again 2nd order was half wrong too This is even calling the restaurant and speaking to the manager. Man, my fiancé and I were hungry after doing some shopping near by. He ordered the cheeseburger, hamburger (for me), large drink and large Cajun fries. We sat down and waited a while. The restaurant was clean. Now, Usually you'll get it within 5-7 minutes right? Well for some reason it didn't this time, it took about 15-20 minutes. There wasn't a lot of people there either, maybe like 7-9 people seated before us. We were number 79 and they were on number 70 when we ordered and sat down. It took awhile, but to keep myself busy, I conversed with my fiancé until they called us up. So 15-20 minutes later, they called my number. Then a gentlemen asked me if they called 86 yet and I said "not yet sir, it's 79". He was like "oh man I gotta wait longer?" (with disappointment). I went back to the table and we dived in. Even though it took a while, but the food was delicious as always. You can't really mess up a burger and fries. So juicy! And man we actually finished it all without having to take any food home. People that work directly with public need to understand that costumer services is everything on any business and these guys needs to do a CS course before they learn how to cook a Hambúrguer. My son used to frequent this location and would walk int he door and call out his own patty count (yup- that's my kid). Needless to say the staff is always friendly to us. I was walking in the lobby to my seat and the guy working was sweeping and I stepped over his pile he had and he was rude and yelled at me and said don't walk here there's trash. One of the best burgers I've had but the prices have increased since last I visited. A little shocked to see a $9 burger in the menu. Last I remember it was $7. Although the place was empty, the were still peanuts left all over the floor. Speaking of peanuts, there complimentary peanuts are goooood. With the customizations, the burger tasted just like I remembered. We ordered one fry for try of us. The size of the fries are still gargantuan. So you are bound to have a bad experience at some point at almost any restaurant right?? Today was that day for me. And of course it happens when you are actually craving the food. I wanted five guys so bad. If I wasn't so hungry I would probably just trash it, fries anyway. My order isn't complicated and for the time it took I don't know how they messed it up. If I could go back I would check it before I left. I semi checked it which is how I caught they almost gave me the wrong food. But I really wanted those grilled onions and crispy fries. The grilled onions were the first thing I asked for and they got left off.. don't get me started on the fries. Not crispy. Actually borderline soggy and not hot. Perfect if that's what I wanted, but it's not. Is it too much to ask for in this world to get crispy fries?? No one ever does hem right. Maybe I need to tell them I'm in no rush, I'll wait for you to make them crispy. Should I even have to do that?? I'm eating in the target parking lot so didn't drive far for them to get cold or loose their crisp. . It's almost as if they gave me these fries on purpose. The bag wasn't even the traditional five guys greasy. Disappointed in the whole trip. Maybe I'm hangry and should have waited to write this. But I didn't wait so oh well. Absolutely rude customer service. I came in yesterday and ordered a little cheese burger. Upon biting into it the meat was pink in the middle so i called in to see about getting it re made well done. Gentleman told me to just call again before i come in so i called again today prior to me coming in and was rudely told he can't do anything without a receipt, explained to him i have it and he was still rude and asking who i spoke to yesterday. Clearly big lack of communication between employees for i called yesterday and he should have written my name down or something. The problem with Five Guys is that they are to good... and soooo bad for you all at the same time! I always get mine loaded with all the goodies... and ask for extra mushrooms! I almost always have to end up using a knife and fork to eat it. And for me, I can only do a small order of the fries... the portions are huge. I have yet to try one of the hotdogs. Though they look really good. My only "con" if I had to list one is that I think Five Guys is a tad bit pricey for a "fast food"/casual eatery. Paying over $10 for lunch for a burger (again... my opinion) and fries is a little much. I do understand and realize that there is a cost for the quality and freshness they are offering. Five Guys has a high reputation among Jacksonville fast food places, but I don't think it quite lives up to it. The best thing I've had there is the hot dog, and I'll definitely have that again. Many people laud their fries, but I consider them to be below average: overcooked and not crispy. Their hamburgers are pretty good, but not among the best I've tasted. Be aware that their normal hamburger is a double. You have to get a "little hamburger" to get a single, which I prefer. This place has a few weaknesses you won't find in most reviews. - For one thing, it's slow "fast food." You'll wait far longer for your food than at other fast food places. - I've experienced a quality control problem once (of three visits so far): hard, white, unripe tomatoes in my burger. They should have been thrown out. - Finally, I really hate their packaging. I get takeout, and bringing their food home is a mess. Grease goes right through the brown paper bags, so I put them on the floor of my car. Then the bags tip over and spill out fries and salt all over my floor (they pour far too many fries right into the bag). Overall, I'd say Five Guys is worth trying, but it isn't one of my favorites among the many new-to-me fast food places I've tried since moving to Jacksonville recently. read more

I had a hard time finding the place, as it was somewhere in the Target shopping plaza. Turns out it was located at the front of the plaza, occupying one section of the former T-birds building. This location is where I ate Five Guys for the first time, and I ordered a hamburger with all the standards toppings and fries. There were also peanuts offered throughout the restaurant to satiate your hunger while waiting in line to order. When I got my hamburger, the hamburger consisted of 2 patties, as opposed to the little hamburger consisting of only 1 patty. The burger was awesome, and the fries were overflowing from the cup into the bag. Five Guys gives you a LOT of fries. I also found out that this chain originated in the DC area, thus whenever I was in DC, I made sure to eat at Five Guys. This is the best burger chain on the East Coast, rivaling In-N-Out burger of the West Coast. read more

I try to avoid Five Guys only because of that whole "tons of calories in just one meal" thing. The food is great and, in my opinion, Five Guys is one (if not the best) chain burgers around. The food at this store is exactly what you expect from Five Guys and the staff is super friendly. Every time I've been in (even during a busy lunch rush), the staff is super friendly and keeps the counters and tables wiped down and clean. They always have plenty of staff and are quick to open another register if a line to order forms. I'm always a fan of Five Guys when I want a decent burger. Today I decided to give in to my burger craving and indulge, making the effort of hobbling out of my car and wishing they had a drive thru. From the moment I got to the door Holona met me to hold the door open and greeted me. (I'm currently on crutches) Now over the past few weeks I've become accustomed to people offering assistance but Holona really went above and beyond. After asking if I needed assistance to the counter, she offered to take my order from the table. She then offered to get my water for me. When I came out of the restroom she had set my water, straw, napkins, ketchup, salt and pepper at the table nearest the restroom exit. She mentioned that she'd previously been in a knee brace and could empathize with me. Sometimes it's difficult for me to accept assistance but Holona just wouldn't take no for an answer and gave me better service than most traditional restaurants. This is a great example of fantastic customer service. *My burger was of course delish as always. read more

Came here after a nearby event and was pleasantly surprised! I had been to this particular one only once before--during lunch--and it was too busy to be blown away (though their food is always stellar). This time, however, we were warmly welcomed, the food was picture-perfect (and shame on my for not taking that picture!), and the staff made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Friendly staff, great service, fast, so clean, immaculate bathrooms!!! By far my best burger experience in a long time and I'm a die hard IN-N-OUT fan. Please bring cash to tip as the card machine isn't set up with that option. I can't say enough good things about this place. All the free add ons are great and the lil burgers are big, the regular burgers are HUGE, way too big for me. We had vanilla and Oreo cookie piece shakes and they were to die for.
