As my daughter was not feeling well, I attempted to place an order at our local Subway. Initially, when I walked in the supervisor or manager, tried to pull me aside stated in a very loud voice, she wanted "to address the complaints" that had been made recently, tried to tell her that my daughter ordered (on DoorDash,) and as so I tried to inform her that I have not ordered from here recently, knowing that I've been ordering from another location, and I tried to point this out but she was already verbally blasting me. I attempted to offer when she said have your daughter call me. I said I will, but she is home sick. I stated several times I did not know the nature of the complaints (at this time and caught off guard as to how she was) and I attempted to disengage and walk away as there were numerous individuals eating at the time in the eatery. As I attempted to walk away, and I asked her if my chips and sodas were in the bag and she said 'you get those'. So I tried to walk away, disengage and get my chips and walk over then to get the drinks. As I was doing so she continued to follow me, yelling at me for everyone to hear and mentioned that there were pictures. She snipped in front of the middle of the eatery for everyone to hear "must not be too bad because you're returning", and at this point, I almost dropped all items and simply walked out. First of all, my 's issues were items missing, EVEN a sub was missing from one order, and items ordered were not present. I learned this as I returned home and shared with my daughter this interaction, or rather the bullying and harassment that I received when I was in the eatery. My daughter noticed how I was shaking. She has reached out to DoorDash, and I have learned that she has filed a complaint with them as well. I truly wish that I had turned around and told her I did not appreciate being spoken to that way, and no one should be spoken to by her in this manner at all especially for everyone in the eatery to hear. A more appropriate way to handle/resolve this would have been to contact my daughter on her cell phone number, that is attached to her account, which she (Supervisor/Manager) has not done. My daughter stated and I quote, "she should be apologizing and not raising her voice at a customer". We will not be returning.
