When we asked about the ice cream the shop owner said they closed early because they didn't have enough help due to the local basketball team playing their game. But they opened up the ice cream shop just for us and gave us our four cups of ice cream. The soft serve ice cream definitely hit the spot but more importantly I give their service a 10/10 and will be stopping by to try their sandwiches and other goods to support their business. She spoke very rudely down to me in front of other customer and I know she was trying to shame me because I've already been waiting more than 20 minutes for my food with five other cars passing around me and leaving. sHe did not want me to mention this in front of others. As I was leaving from showing her my bag, she made the rude statement "and they're free" regarding the condiments as I walked out the door. I will not be returning and I probably will notify the health department. (Last time ordered here found a hair too and should have not gone back.) As a final note, will offer they seem more invested in talking with one another and standing around, rather than waiting on the customers. This could possibly be the reason I had to wait so long in my vehicle pulled up alongside the building for two little sandwiches and fries, and obviously after others received in their bags and left. I do believe that if my skin color reflected my actual ethnicity, I would not have been treated in this manner as I'm actually the same as theirs, their treatment would've been better and kinder. They offer a few selections. We had the chicken salad on butter bread (tasty, fresh baked bread not available) and the ham sandwich (average). Coffee excellent. The pecan sticky buns were the winner here, a lot of caramel and pecans, with good glaze and even cinnamon throughout.
