Anyway, we rode up to Kirks and one of the service guys was standing out on the sidewalk by the door. He asked what we needed and we showed him the wheel. He immediately took the bike in and pulled the wheel to true it up. He wasn't able to true it (okay, maybe I more than SLIGHTLY clipped it...). About 20 minutes later they had a new wheel installed and we were on our way. The price was very fair and it was great that they were able to fix it while we waited. They really took care of us!

I really appreciate that. Some bike shops don't go that extra mile. Finally the got all the repairs done quick. It took only a day. However, I did have to schedule it a couple weeks in advanced. Ive passed Bicycle Hospital many many times and they have been in business for years. I had a second wheel so I switched out and dropped my wheel off on a Wed with a gentleman with a beard. He was friendly and said no problem to fix. It was ready to pick up Friday but I didn't go till Saturday. Walked in and the female employee knew I was there for my wheel. Cost me 20$ to fix something I couldn't and would have cost me triple any other place. They must be doing something right to be in business so long. My bike will need a tune up this fall and I plan on taking it here.

No appointment was needed, although you might want to call ahead and confirm - they get very busy in the spring/summer (as you can imagine). I was told it would be about three weeks, and it ended up taking about four weeks. Plan ahead if you need or want your bike within a certain time frame! After 3.5 weeks, I called to get an update, and the employee was super friendly and explained they were a bit behind schedule because of demand. A few days later, I received a text message that my bike was ready for pickup. Really pleased with my experience with Gray Goat and highly recommend doing business here! Aside from the service shop, you can come here to browse new bikes, equipment, etc. The employees seem really knowledgeable about the products and all things cycling.
