Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. The staff at a couple were unhelpful and, sadly, a little pushy. My wife, smarter than I, searched further afield and sent me here. Wow! I was greeted by a tech named Tom. He checked me into their system in about a minute. He made me comfortable working with him because he actually listened to my concerns and needs. After examining my account he recommended a new phone that is the current state of the art ... iPhone 15 Pro ... and a plan that had higher speed and he explained that with a trade in, and a switch to automatic paying with a checking account, my monthly bill would remain the same! There was a minor glitch with the trade in, but Tom went to their help desk while I sat and he cleared everything up. While I waited, he updated the iOS on the new phone and transferred everything perfectly. Tom was amazing. Really. He knows his products. He doesn't sell more than you need, rather he listens and recommends options that he thinks will offer the best value. My experience with him told me there are still people who come to work to do the best job for the customer and properly represent the products his company offers. Quite a rare treat in these me-first days! Great service, amazing sales tech, perfect transaction. Sad I can only assign just 5 stars.

I went there today asking for a new SIM card for one of my phones. The clerk said that she cannot…read morehelp me because there's a "fraud alert" on my account. I then asked her for a phone so that I could call customer service, she said she didn't have a phone to call customer service, because the call would take a long time. I went outside the store and had a live customer service rep on the phone within 3 minutes. I walked back into the store to hand my phone to the clerk so she could talk to the customer service rep, but she refused. The customer service rep said that it was wrong of the clerk to deny me a phone to call customer service and it was wrong of the clerk to refuse to speak to customer service on my phone. On top of that nonsense, the Spanish music is blasting. And while I was there, I saw another customer leave disappointed, apparently with the same clerk versus phone rep nonsense. I logged an official complaint with the T-Mobile main office, they were nice enough to waive the cost of my replacement SIM card after what I was put through at the local store. And interestingly enough, they found no fraud alerts on my account.
