Also, gentle guidance and support is promised. If you are promising this to grieving customers you should deliver, otherwise please choose another profession. True compassion is authentic. Years ago they broke the vase on my parents' marker…read morewith a lawn mower, and when I told them, they 'fixed' it by cutting out the old hole and dropping another vase into the hole, but it had no handle to pull it out. I asked them to fix that vase so I could pull it out when trying to leave flowers, but they will not call me back and tell me it was fixed correctly. These people have no regard for the damage they do to the grave markers or to the families. They can't even respond to a simple request for verification.

Fortunately it's been a few years since I've been there, but if "Six Feet Under" is any indication I doubt the staff turnover is very high and they're probably still doing the right thing. Overall the facility is very nice and accommodated us well. The people working there were very attentive, even to the point of assuring that certain items made it from the viewing to the cemetery (including the body, but I digress). I really like the neighborhood, too. That's kind of a hindsight thing, but I thought it was important to mention.
