Harland installed the Chargepoint charger just where I wanted it!
    Greg W.

Harland Electric came over to install a Chargepoint charger in my garage. My panel was nearly full, but they re-arranged a couple circuits to make the new 40-amp circuit fit. Harland's crew worked quickly, navigated some tight spaces in my basement, and had the circuit, run and charger complete in two hours. They were professional and communicative the entire time. I highly recommend Harland Electric!

We had a sizable, multi-day electric service relocation and 400-amp safety panel upgrade/FPE remediation project performed on our family's 62-year-old home by Spaulding Electric in conjunction with National Grid. The five-person crew consisted of two master electricians, two journeymen, and an apprentice. Every single member of the team, regardless of their experience level, demonstrated complete mastery of their assigned tasks and maintained the highest level of professionalism throughout. The master electrician who led the team maintained a remarkably calm, cool presence while managing the crew, keeping everyone productive, and ensuring the job was done well. The entire team worked efficiently to complete the project in a timely manner, always showing great consideration for our need for domestic power during the transition. We were highly impressed with Spaulding's knowledge of complex technical and code requirements, which was validated by the town inspector's full approval. Due to the large scope and cost of this project, we obtained estimates from several competing firms; Spaulding's quote was by far the most complete and fairly priced. The crew's willingness to answer all of our questions and address our concerns is just one of many reasons we will use them for our future needs. We recommend them completely and without hesitation for any tasks requiring licensed electricians.

And then a second repair that took two days to fix. They repaired the unit, but not all the water damage With streaks of bluish green down my new walls. Now warped and swelling. The leaking units caused damage to two bedrooms in my home as well as exterior siding. They denied and refused to supply me with their liability insurance carrier. They're so unprofessional. Other companies can install heatpumps. Who will stand-by their product and installation. Not Nashoba air and boiler. 0 stars should be an option!

I needed a shower mixer replaced, a simple repair that most homeowners could do in an hour or so…read more Since we only have one shower, I decided not to DIY -- if anything went wrong, it would have been a huge problem. Nashoba quoted $850 for the entire job, including labor and the part, which costs roughly $100. I was completely shocked. Then came the "discounts": $100 off, and when they saw I was still stunned, another $50. It felt like buying a used car, with a high-pressure negotiation designed to make me feel like I was getting a deal, when in reality I was being ripped off. If I hadn't shown my shock, I likely would have paid the full $850. The work itself was fine, and the technician was polite, but the price was outrageous. The national average for this job is $375-$450, and even in Massachusetts, the high end is about $575. I paid $700. I later learned that Nashoba Air & BoilerWorks is owned by Sila Services, backed by Goldman Sachs. This corporate structure adds overhead and drives up prices for customers. I thought I was hiring a local company, but I was wrong -- this is part of a multi-owner corporate platform. After reading other Yelp reviews, it's clear my experience was not unique. I wish I had read them first. If you want reasonably priced plumbing, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a genuinely local company.
