One, no "family" changing room, yet a strict rule against opposite-sex children in the bathrooms. My son is 5 now, so I can take him with me into the women's restroom to change, but once he turns 6, he'll be on his own. Boo. There are a zillion deck chaises provided, but only a few are adjustable. The vast majority only lay completely flat. Also? COLD!!! When we were there recently it was 90+ degrees outside but the water was freezing cold and my son's teeth were chattering within minutes. Even after several attempts to help him "get used to it", he was asking to go home after only an hour there. UNUSUAL for him - he normally wants to stay at the Ridge pool for hours. So.

But some little jerk kid named " Cash " ( all the lifeguards were saying his name ), and all of his little cronies ( minions ) were cursing out other kids, cutting in line shoving other kids to the side, throwing people into the pool with reckless abandon, jumping in front of others when they were diving or jumping into the pool, hitting others with balls, we left early because of that on two days... Get rid of " Cash!!! " He is like 12-13 with NO PARENTS there , get rid of the lifeguards who let IT ALL HAPPEN!!!!

It looks like a little version of the DU one, except you can do 7 classes here for your 2-3 year old for $68! The teachers are generally very enthusiastic high school or college students, but they're well-trained and great at facilitating the classes. I've also just held my daughter's birthday here. Again, the cost is so much better than the only place similar in gymnastics facilities (DU). Also, the staff is incredible and super flexible. And, you can have up to 30 children, which is way better than at any other gym. I highly recommend!

My daughter lost a hat there and I didn't realize it for several weeks. It was waiting for me in their lost and found once I finally realized that was where we'd left it.

We had a lot of fun here...this outdoor pool is open to the public. It originally opened as a…read morecountry club in 1957. They also have a snack bar with a limited menu. Next to the pool is an 18 hole golf course that hosted the 1961 PGA Open Invitational & inside is a clubhouse grill . The pool is open everyday from 12-6pm, the cost is as follows: ages 2-17 $5, 18-61 $7 & over 62 $5. Note, parking is shared with the golf course & can get very crowded. I've been to Meadow Hills Pool twice now, once on a Tuesday & another on a Sunday, both in the late afternoon. On Tuesday I counted nine people there & on Sunday even though every chair & table was occupied there was plenty of room in the pool. This pool is made for kids, it was warm, relatively shallow & they allowed small floating toys when I was there. The main pool has a gradual walk in (like the ocean) & cement seating along the sides of the pool. There were lots of lounge chairs, grass & shade trees. Friendly lifeguards & staff too. Once an hour they have an adult swim as well. Great place to cool off on a hot summer day!
