Harmonious Hounds (Tim & Lauren) have been a valuable resource/service/training for our now almost 2 year old Labrador Retriever - Poppy. Like most Labs, Poppy has a great amount of love & enthusiasm for people, places, & things. However, unlike our previous Lab, Hope who had a submissive/shy personality .. Poppy is very outgoing .. with often an energy level over the top (& difficult to control). House guests were treated as other pals to play with; a visit to the vet as puppy play group; and all other dogs her new BFF. Needless to say, she was difficult to handle. Tim & Lauren have been working with Poppy in both their Manners Class and in private sessions in which they work on & towards a more polite (& manageable) response/behavior to all that excites Poppy. (Some of their sessions often include visits to the vet & other public places ....which have been a struggle for me.) And, I'm happy to say - that the change in Poppy has been amazing. She (all 70 pounds of her) is becoming a joy to handle in these situations. (She now is often complimented on her polite behavior!) Tim & Lauren (& their staff) are most reliable & pleasant to work with. Poppy is excited to see them as she is us! In addition, we have also used Harmonious Hounds/Tim & Lauren to pet sit for us (we have 2 cats in addition to Poppy). It was nice to be away from home and have peace of mind that your pets were in knowledgeable & responsible hands(something very crucial to us!). We were away for a week and contracted with Harmonious Hounds to take care of our two cats. We have used them before and were very satisfied, but this time they were doing far more than we asked. We had an issue of one cat unhappy with the other cat so she showed her displeasure by leaving a deposit right next to her kitty box in the basement every night. Tim and Lauren went over the top and cleaned everything up for the week. They also picked up the mail, watered the indoor flowers and took out the trash and made everything nice to come home to. They were available by texting or by phone and had everything covered. It certainly made our vacation carefree. They do not disappoint. read more

The team at Harmonious Hounds is excellent, accommodating, helpful, and they genuinely care about your dog! We have a rescue dog who we got as a puppy, and he has had some behavioral problems. However, Tim and Lauren have helped us train him and his behavior has substantially improved! We have several members of their team walk our dog while we are at work, and they always do a great job and send us pictures of what he is up to (which we love!). They are also our go-to pet sitters for when we are on vacation, and the only people we trust to take care of our dog and look after him while we are away. They know our dog's issues, and accommodate him in every way. 100% worth every penny. read more

Very reliable organization. Tim was very good meeting with the dogs ; one is only 2 yrs old and he can a little crazy but they were cared for and safe even during a power outage. Because of the storm I contacted them via internet and they responded back with an update as to their welfare. I highly recommend this pet sitting service. read more
