I have to say for a small hotel/motel experience. The room was extremely nice. It was extremely…read moreclean and offered a small kitchen with microwave, stove, sink, etc.. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. The office offered free amenities like bottled water, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, etc. free for the taking. For Marco Island this hotel/motel is extremely inexpensive. I would go back to this place if I were ever in Marco Island, Florida again. While we typically stay at extremely high-end hotels for a quick overnight stay, this was a good choice.

Exceptional Stay - A Hidden Gem on Marco Island! I enjoyed…read moremy stay at the Lakeside Inn immensely! The location is absolutely perfect--situated in a very private and extremely safe neighborhood. One of my favorite parts of each day was enjoying the gorgeous view of the small lake right off of my private balcony. The efficiency studio was flawless and had everything I needed, including a full setup with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the necessary utensils and cookware. It made cooking my own meals incredibly convenient, especially since the grocery store is less than a 3-minute bike ride away! The amenities are fantastic; the pool was pristine, kept at the perfect temperature, and I happily spent many days relaxing out there. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. The employees are so grateful, helpful, kind, and caring--it's obvious they genuinely love their jobs. A huge shoutout to Nicole, Dianna, and Christine for their wonderful hospitality! The cleaning staff was also on top of absolutely everything. The room was spotlessly clean, and whenever I needed a quick replacement, like extra trash bags, they were at my door in no time. I can't recommend the Lakeside Inn enough and look forward to returning!

We had an amazing stay at tarpon tale inn! The place is so quaint and cute! Really loved the…read moregrounds, the thoughtfully placed landscaping for privacy, and lots of outdoor seating options. The inside is very clean, and it's nice that everything was recently renovated. They even have different pillow options- the first night my pillow height was too high, but I realized there was a thinner pillow, which I used the rest of my stay. The owners and employees are so friendly and always there (in person or by text) to answer questions or help. This place has everything you need: beach equipment, wagon, bikes, designated parking spot, even hydrocortisone cream. We had a car, but this place is perfect for those with no car. It's only a 5 minute walk to the closest beach, 12 min walk to the lighthouse beach (and a lot of beach parking on the island is not free). It's surrounded by good food- our favorite restaurant on the island (wickies) is just across the street, along with great ice cream. Just to the right is the deli where we got yummy bagels and coffee many times. I also prefer staying on this side of the island as it's much more cozy, small-town feel, and walkable than the other side and down by the beach resorts (we drove out to see). Our flight got cancelled on our last day and Joe was so accommodating with their equipment and outdoor space. My one very minor and personal opinion suggestion would be that the fluorescent bulbs made the room feel a bit blue and stark at night, if the bulbs had a yellow tint it would feel even more cozy. We can't wait to bring our kids when they're a little older and stay here again!

Unfortunately I did not sleep a wink here, I am a super light sleeper and unfortunately the room next to ours had a couple of baritone guys that woke up at 4:30 in the morning ughhh...the beds were not the most comfy unfortunately either adding to a bit of my suffering as well. Giving it 4 stars. I unfortunately should have gotten some earplugs after the first night. I felt like they were talking to me since their convo was so close to our headboard. Owners seemed to go above and beyond so probably unfortunately just the loud guests we were next to combined with my light sleeping tendencies!!!

This is one of my favorite Hotels in Naples. Hotel is conveniently located near 5th Avenue (which…read moreis the main street of downtown Naples), the beach, and Tin City. Hotel offers shuttle services as well but we usually have a rental car so we have used this service very little. Beautiful Hotel with a coastal feel and warm and friendly staff. Always accommodating and love the welcome sparkling wine when you arrive. Makes you feel like you have truly arrived. This is a beautiful boutique Hotel which also adds to its charm. Love that they offer snacks in the afternoon along with a contential type of breakfast. Room's are well appointed only sad that they no longer have Nest toiletries. When they had those they smelled like the beach which also made you feel like you were at a coastal getaway. While the Beach is down the road the water is close by. Hotel has both traditional rooms as well as several villas. Love each time we come and highly recommend this Hotel. Always a good time.

We had a hotel driver take us to a restaurant and when it was closed he took us to another place. When we were unable to renew our room because a wedding had the main hotel booked, the concierge gave us a reduced price on the cabin, which was gorgeous. The building is clean and well maintained. We were lucky to come on Tuesday evening and there was a pianist playing in the lobby, which was lovely. Overall, a charming and well maintained hotel with great service within walking distance of 5th Ave. P.S- they have free cookies in the lobby.

It was quite evident that the owners take great pride in their Inn. Housekeeping was thorough…read more Space was very clean. We hardy left their pool/ back yard lounging area. It was the perfect spot for a getaway. We felt very at home. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we were only there for a weekend, but it looked great and was nicely put together. The owners really make you feel welcome. You must stay here! After months of reading reviews of the various options in the area, I was very satisfied with my selection.

When I was planning this trip for me and my boyfriend, I originally wanted a place with a view of…read morethe gulf but we opted for Manatee Bay after seeing photos of the bay views. It is a pretty and quiet little bay full of jumping fish, diving seagulls and of course- manatees! We enjoyed laying out on the deck and taking dips in BOTH of the 2 pools and watching the para-sailors go back and forth in the skyline since the beach is so close. Just around the corner is Times Square which is the hustling and bustling area of FMB where the pier is. We stayed in a 1 bedroom on the second floor with a balcony which is shared with the room next door, but there is a small partition. We wished it was a more private balcony but we could see how it would be nice if we had a group staying with us next door and we could all use the balcony together. The decor is your basic Florida beach motif but not overdone. It was a good sized unit, the bathroom had a large shower with pretty tiles and a full kitchen with refrigerator and stove top (no oven). We could've used more cooking utensils as we did a lot of cooking/grilling. AND there was only one grill for the whole Inn! I'm not sure if it happens often, but we had scheduling conflict with another guest who wanted to use the grill at the same time we did! We worked it out but it was awkward to have to decide who goes first. I would recommend they get at least one more! Connie the owner, lives at the Inn and was available to answer all questions and was very kind. We DID find it a little strange that she asked us not to bring guests onto the property since the Inn was completely booked but since we only had a couple who are Ft Myers natives stop by she said that would be fine. The price is pretty inexpensive compared to other Inns in the area and had all the amenities that we needed. Great views, quiet and clean. We would definitely consider staying here again :)
