We were impressed with the staff and the facility before moving Mom and knew it was the place for her. Sadly, Mom passed away last week. However, in the two years at Magnolias, she was truly relaxed and enjoyed the residents and staff as well as her surroundings. As we all learn to realize, this is one of the biggest transitions in our parents' lives. The level of communication as well as the professionalism of the staff made our decision to place Mom there a true comfort for us and to the entire family. Visiting the facility was always an uplifting event and we were welcomed like we had known everyone for much longer. Cindy, Ashley and the entire staff have created a level of care that anyone presented with making a decision for their loved ones, should not hesitate to consider this facility. The doctor said no, so the kept her. This year, they send a letter saying her rates will be raised OVER 3.000.00 a month! They say it's not about level of care, just cost of living. Cost of living is about 10%, a couple hundred dollars. NOT 3,000.00 a month. Where does a senior on a limited income get an extra 36,00.00 a year! Seems to me they are trying to get rid of her, knowing she cannot pay this. HELP!!!

The doctor took up for her and said she did not need memory care, so they kept her. My friend was taken in at an all inclusive rate, which means her rate would not go up if her level of care did go up. The nurse and manager reassured me so which the last month or so. My friend got a letter dated Sept. 1 , stating they were raising her rate over 3,000.00 for a cost of living increase. Cost of living is about 10%, a couple hundred dollars a month, not over 3,000.00. The local manager says this is at the corporate level. Yet the increase letter bares her name. HELP!!!!

Walking up to the facility, the receptionist was polite and the facility was clean and organized. The facility is brand new and state of the art. They are providing high quality care for all the retired elderly members. Easy to find and plenty of parking. I will return when my chorus performs for the residents!

The facility is clean and pleasant and my mom loves going everyday. My mom's bus driver Celina is so loving with everyone on her bus and my mom looks forward to getting picked up. Finding Aging Gracefully has saved my life and gave me some much needed help when I thought I was helpless. Thank you everyone at Aging Gracefully!!
