This company did not respond to my project here on yelp, I was referred to them by a friend of mine who maintains a La Jolla set of condominiums where they had this company perform a difficult task. After giving them details and images of my proposed work, they quoted me a very affordable price (approximately half of some of the other estimates that I received) and they helped me with an invoice where I was able to make my payment directly into the email and they got my payment immediately. What surprised me was they wanted to come and do the work immediately, but I had to wait one day. The man who did the work was very professional, lifted the old glass out, saved all of the pieces he needed to save and had the new piece in within 40 minutes. If I ever need more glass, these are the people. They provided me an honest and affordable estimate and I was able to get my window repair accomplished before my inspector came one week later. True 5 star service doesn't have an expiration date. I used this company to install two shower doors in 2017. They did a nice job, although I did have to call them out to make an adjustment that should have been done by the installer (said the owner, Jon, himself). Last week I called them to find out about replacing the knobs on both doors, which have since corroded. (Actually not cool after only 4 years.) The first time I called, I got a female who upon hearing when I bought the doors immediately went into defense mode and informed me the doors were out of warranty. Yes, I understand...I expect to pay...I just need your help getting them fixed as quickly as possible as I have renters coming in and I'd like not to bother them. I was told to send pictures and she would check to see if they would have to special order the knobs and get back with me. I sent the ones below...and waited. Crickets. Called back a couple days later and left a voicemail reminding them I was still waiting to hear back from them. More crickets. I needed a new sliding glass shower door for my newly tiled shower. I got quotes from several companies and Affordable Glass & Window had the best pricing with stellar reviews. I paid the deposit and a week later the shower glass was installed! The installer was professional, wore a mask, wore shoe covers and got the job done well. The door itself is very nice, slides real smooth and no leaks. I was so happy with the shower door installation, I decided to get a quote on a large bathroom mirror. Again, they had the best pricing for what I needed. The first mirror install had issues. However Jon (owner?) came back out to re-measure and the 2nd new mirror was installed perfectly. The installers kept me in the loop on the progress and made sure I was happy before they left. While communication is a bit slow, be patient as it'll be worth the wait. The lady on the phone states they get like 50 quote requests a day so they're pretty popular and slammed with lots of folks working from home now trying to do home improvements.
