I'm from San Diego, CA but I came to Houston one weekend to visit friends and family, and was told about the exceptional services and prices from this facility, and decided to try them out! Specially recommended to me by a long time friend who moved here long ago. It was easy finding the place, and not to mention they have two giant private parking lots. Upon checking in, all the employees were friendly and efficient, and the initial process to sign in was a breeze! It was quick and easy thanks to their top knotch technology where you can fill out all your information on a tablet, which is awesome cause I hate writing! I was seen with a dental hygienist, who took xrays of my teeth, and went over with me the type of procedures I needed. I decided to get the deep cleaning because I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. Throughout the whole procedure, she walked me through every step of the way and consistently made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Not to mention they have TV's both on the wall in front of you AND on the ceiling! Also, Thuy, the office manager went over with me the options for payment, with and without insurance, and gave me a great deal! Overall, the professionalism and cleanliness of this office is immaculate. I left this place with the cleanest teeth ever! They feel great! BEWARE of HARMONY DENTAL & STAY AWAY. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU, NOT LISTEN TO YOUR NEEDS & CALL COPS ON YOU when you ask questions! I paid thousands ($6K) for an implant/crown for it to become loose. I was told to return if I ran into problems, so I scheduled a 30-minute appointment that turned into 2-hours of NEGLECT and MISTREATMENT. The OFFICE MANAGER, NICOLE TORRES is so unprofessional and horrible (refused to give me her last name when I asked-I found online). I was surprised when I saw office manager, Nicole Torres tending to patients (she is not a PA), was not wearing a mask, hair cover, nor scrubs! I kept repeating myself that I was a return patient, that I didn't need a full exam as I am currently with another dentist, but the x-ray tech still insisted to give me full x-rays when I said no. Three different dentists came into my patient room to "poke around" when I asked them not to. Dr. Thuang Vo came in and wanted to know how much my current dentist charged and repeatedly asked, when I told him an estimate he said, "That's cheap-must be cheap materials, cheap dentists, so you'll get what you pay for" - which I felt was unnecessary and not his concern. Dr. Greg Pham come into my office and I told him I didn't want a full exam - he looked at my x-rays and left. Then Dr. Boxiao Liang came in, opened my mouth and kept spraying cold air on me, poking and prodding at my teeth even when I asked him THREE TIMES TO STOP. The treatment coordinator (Maira Colunga) first brought in the wrong treatment sheet, then came in to say that my current crown/implant wasn't sealed (not complete). When I asked her what she meant, why wasn't it finished, and why did I need all the extra procedures as Dr. Liang didn't mention, she said I was asking too many questions and left. Nicole, Maira, and Dr. Liang then came back to my exam room - said I asking too many questions, that I needed braces, multiple fillings, an a screw replaced on the implant. I said, I ONLY CAME IN FOR AN IMPLANT SCREW TIGHTENING and have a dentist to handle everything else. Then, they said they'd tighten the screw for $200+ and I needed to pay then & there (in the back, and not in the front like other patients). Nicole took my debit card and didn't return for 20-30 minutes. In the meantime, I called my husband to come into my exam room as I felt very uncomfortable and was emotional by this time as I was worried the dentist/staff would do more than what I needed and/or could hurt me when I was under their care. I looked outside my room and saw Maira, asking her for my debit card and when I'd be seen. Then Nicole came back and was surprised I had called my husband in to care for me. My husband and I both asked when they would see me, and why they weren't doing the quick procedure I needed - which was a SCREW TIGHTENING. To make an even longer story shorter, Nicole said that "The dentists have no say in what procedures are done to patients, I do, the doctors are told what to do!". She said this infront of Dr. Liang. Dr. Liang just kept his head down. They left us again for 15-20 minutes and Maira said Nicole was in the next office, I went outside to look for Nicole and that's when I found her tending to patients. She quickly got up from the patient room - told me I as causing trouble, was asking too many questions, and she now refused to give me service. I asked her for a refund, and she said me and my husband needed to leave and she'd give me a refund and call the cops. Pearland Police were called, and I was waiting at the front desk (for about 15 minutes) when the officer arrived since Nicole nor Maira could figure out how to issue a debit card refund. The officer asked what was wrong - I told him I asked for a refund as I was mistreated, mishandled, and neglected by multiple dentist, office manager Nicole Torres, and treatment coordinator, Maira Colunga. That Multiple dentists wouldn't stop poking at my teeth when I asked them to repeatedly. I also told the police officer that why was an OFFICE MANAGER holding DENTAL EQUIPMENT in patient exam rooms with NO MASK, NO SCRUBS, nor hair cover? The police officer looked at me surprised, shook his head, said he'd wait until I was issued the refund to make sure we got to our vehicle safely. Nicole & Maira could never figure out how to issue a refund so they had to give me a check for what I had paid. I got the check, the police officer walked me and my husband out - told us to be careful and he was sorry for any inconvenience. It is unfortunate that the city police needs to apologize for the negligence of the Harmony Dental Pearland Dentists & Staff. I have left multiple emails and messages for supervisor/owner Dr. Tiffany Vo - who is related to one of the dentist Dr. Thao Vo. No one has responded (which was a yahoo email address - see picture). Do not go here! There should only be a one star rating but they give out Starbucks gift cards to bribe people into giving a five star rating. I am a braces patient so I have been going to this dentist for the past 2 years. Prices are cheap so if you don't head my warning and decide to go anyways make sure to hang onto ANY and every piece of paper work they give you especially contracts. I got an implant and braces but was told on many occasions that I did not pay for an implant and I would have to pull out my contract and show them. Dr. Vo knows I got an implant but has tried any way to get out of doing it because I took advantage of a sale they had. I also kept all of my payment receipts but was told three different remaining balances when I offered to just pay the last bit in lump some because I was so fed up with the inconsistencies I had to hunt down all of my receipts at home and present them for them to actually give me the correct amount. No way to schedule appointments anything under a month there were many times that I had to repeat the same processes with my braces because they could not get me an appointment within the same month. This was just my experience my husband also had a horrible experience. He bought two implants One works fine The other has been going on for the last four years and they cannot seem to get the fit correct. It also fill out yet again. They have sent it to their lab exactly 15 times and cannot seem to get it correct. The office staff at this place are the worst. I made an appointment for my daughters and when I called the day before because I hadn't received the confirmation I was told the appointment was never set because the notes in their system says the call was disconnected?!? If the call was disconnected wouldn't you call back? The call was never disconnected that was just their excuse for overbooking or whatever the case may be... so then I make another appointment, show up on time to find out there has been an "emergency" ok understandable so we wait an hour to be called back then We are there for 3 hours and all they had done was a cleaning! Have no fear, Dr. Vo is here! He is an amazing dentist that has a wide range of skills. He does general dentistry, as well as implants and braces. His prices are affordable, and he's always willing to work with you! The doctor is only as great as his staff, and his staff here is amazing! They're friendly and patient, and they're all bilingual which is a definite perk. He is located in his own plot with his own private parking lot, so parking is not an issue. The location of the office is easy to find as well. Look for the tall two story building with a red sign across from Popeyes! I highly recommend Dr. Vo and his staff. We LOVE Harmony Dental! I called when my husband's teeth were killing him and he needed an appointment immediately. They got us in SAME day and had us an affordable dental plan, prescriptions and temporary peace of mine for us as we left. Everyone in the office is on their game and so friendly! The dentists are very gentle and really made the extraction process better for my husband by joking with and talking to him while he had teeth pulled. Not only are they gentle, kind and professional but they are AFFORDABLE! They will work with you and give you multple options to choose from. Harmony Dental is now our primary dental facility. This place is the worst. You're lucky if they even answer the phones to be able to make an appointment. Then you wait a minimum of 30 minutes to be called back- and that's WITH an appointment. The longest I waited there to be seen was 1.5 hours (with an appointment). The orthodontist work they did was sooo slow. I was told my daughter's braces would be off in July and she finally got them off here in October. We waited 3 months for her retainers to come in and they are the cheapest, uncomfortable and ugliest things that look like they came from the 1970s. No wonder they took so long to arrive! The facility is very nice and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had an implant put in, there prices are great and they work with you also. I had Dr. TJ do my implant, Dr. Vo came in now and again and looked over it as well. They are both amazing Drs. I had a great experience. Dr TJ was very chill, and explained to me everything he was doing. He did a great job on my implant as well, I couldn't be more satisfied. I was extremely nervous and my anxiety was through the roof but right away he calmed me. I look forward to continuing this process as well as getting more work done. read more

This dental clinic was trying to steal my money. They did a professional shady trick to me. That you should be careful. I came for getting my teeth braces. The Asian girl keep saying she did discounted half price for my braces fee ( which is $4300 total, so without discount it's more?? ). She thinks I'm stupid but i'm so used to that trick. LoL, the price was ok to me. Yes, they told me to fill my 5 teeth before to get the braces ( which costs $100/each for the filling, included in the $4300). I came 3 other dental clinics and they said I just have 3 teeth need to be filled. However, I still came back to get my braces because Harmony is not far from my home. I prepaid the $500 for my teeth filling. A black doctor did the filling for me. I trusted him until he stopped at the 5th tooth and walked out. Then he came back with a lady, they told me that 5th tooth needs to get a "porcelain crown" which costs $3400 for that only one tooth. She said if I dont do it, that tooth will be infected and my face will be swollen . I was shocked by the extra fee, but still calm enough to say "I need to think about that". Then asking for the refund of that 5th tooth. They were not happy on their face when refunding my money. They said, If I dont get it done, I wont be able to get my braces. Ok I left. I went to 3 other dental clinics. And noone said I need that porcelain crown to get my braces. Moreover, my friend, who is patient of this Harmony Dental said the same, that was told to get the porcelain crown done by that black doctor ( but cost only $1500). I dont know how many customer had the same experience. You know to remove a tooth still healthy to do the porcelain is not long-lasting way. I feel bad for them because they just lost a braces customer. Now I still don't know if my filled teeth done good or bad. I have no racial problem with that black doctor. But I believe he was told to do that trick by the owner - an Asian guy. As I know, they dental doctors receive % of each dental surgery, so no surprised that they try to take more and more fee. Well you know, I dont have dental insurance so dont try to take my money for bad reasons. read more

Dr. Vo is no longer doing implants. His staff told me he was doing only Braces now. My implants are paid for but not finished and I've been referred to another Dentist in the office. STAY AWAY! Horrible office staff and dentists. Had my brother go in to remove his wisdom teeth. Everything was very disorganized and seemed like they had no idea an appointment was even made for a major surgery. What's even worse is that they do not even carry the legal prescription pads for the medication needed after wisdom teeth removal. After getting to the pharmacy to fill his prescription we were turned away because harmony dental did not provide the legal script required to get the medication needed instead they gave us a makeshift script that "looked official." After calling harmony to let them know they rudely told us they can order new pads but we will have to wait 30 days. My little brother is suffering in pain and all the office staff had to say was pretty much let him suffer for 30 days and then we can get you an official script. Luckily our neighbor had some pain medication on hand to help him but if you are reading this STAY AWAY FROM HARMONY. Very shady business practice. read more

I've been going to Dr. Vo since last year. I haven't been to a dentist in over 6 years because I am so scared of them but he made me feel at ease. I had a deep cleaning done and had my braces put on while I was pregnant. He offers very affordable payment plans and he was so good that had my daughters braces put on by him as well. I live an hour away from his office but he's so good that I'm willing to drive the distance. His staff is so friendly and very comforting as well when you are scared. I just had a filling done by him last month and I was terrified because I'm scared of the needles going into my gums. I was literally shaking and didn't wanna get them done but I knew I had to. His staff was comforting me and telling me everything was going to be ok. Dr. Vo was very comforting as well and told me that it would just be a little pinch. I was hanging on to the chair for my dear life lol. Guess what though? It actually wasn't that bad just like they all said. Nothing like my previous dentist appointments back then with other dentist. The injections didn't hurt much like I thought they would and everything after that was a piece of cake!! I highly recommend him to everybody!! Great front office staff, absolutely love the welcoming as I am a patient with high anxiety. I had an emergency and Janeli was able to schedule me in at a reasonable time to get treated. Denise's, the manager made sure I was comfortable for my upcoming procedure due to my history of anxiety. Dr A was very attentive and answered all questions and concerns.
