( I have very good insurance so I was shocked that it cost so much) and I just so happened to have a cavity in between a filled tooth and a back tooth so that was $700. I wanted to second option so I did and this 5 star dentist in Deer Park did not find any cavity and told me if I wanted laser cleaning treatment it was going to be $160 out of pocket. When I asked about it, they said that's standard practice. Not sure if that's true for dental billing but it's 100% fraudulent for medical especially since the billing provider never even saw the patient. I also had to pay out of pocket for my crown because the office did not submit the notes to insurance and didn't inform me until it was past timely filing. Super incompetent, it would have been paid if they submitted the medical notes.
