He also didn't properly tighten the pipe fittings under the sink. Moreover, he left a filthy mess above, around and under the sink. My 97 year old mother was very upset and I took much heat for letting John do the work. An Air Group technician that came on April 7, 2026 confirmed all of the above and told us the sink top surface was permanently damaged by the prior work. He also told us that Home Depot often refers bad plumbers so I'll not ask for their help again in this area. Nor will I call Mr. Clements for future work; he didn't even acknowledge the damage to the sink he caused while removing the old faucet and installing the new one.

The next day I contacted a professional contractor who gave me a quote of $300 to sand a paint those exact holes. The job was done in 1 day and my ceiling is perfect. I can't imagine anyone paying that price for sanding and painting such a small area, so I'll chalk it up as he didn't want to work for me so he gave me a price to that made sure I wouldn't call back.
