We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

They communicated well throughout the move, worked quickly while still being careful with my belongings, and made what can be a stressful day go much more smoothly. I really appreciated their hard work and positive attitudes. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers. Hopefully I won't have to move again anytime soon LOL, but if I do, I know who I'll call!

After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

I was looking for move to move both a grand piano and the rest of our apt items. The piano part was fine. The rest was an absolute disaster. I can't believe this: They took SEVEN HOURS to move half our 1br apt down the street. Literally. Logistically everything was packed backwards, so they left everything out in the hall in order to move the couch in, LAST. It took us TWO HOURS AFTER THEY LEFT, to move the rest of the boxes they did choose to bring, inside our apt. We have yet to retrieve the REST OF THE STUFF, in the old apartment, since ALTHOUGH WE TOLD THEM EVERYTHING WAS COMING, they decided to just be done and left a quarter of the furniture in the old place. THEY NEVER ASKED ANYONE if we were finished. One guy sat at the piano for about 45 minutes because he was waiting for someone to bring up tools to reattach it. No one ever came. Ironically they DID take things clearly marked "do not take'. Conveniently they left all the awkward items like the ACs and appliances/paintings. This is the worst moving company I've seen in a long time. In explaining where to put things, they kept saying they had to wait for the couch/piano, which they moved last. No one came to survey the situation on either end. Every time I told one person something, it never got communicated to the other the guys standing around elsewhere. I had also asked them to wrap the couch, THREE times. THEY DIDN'T, so now there are HUGE, long scratches on my brand new leather couch. Pics to follow. These are some of the laziest (albeit friendly) people I've seen. We were quoted for 5 guys@$190/hr. Only four were present. One was completely useless. Usually one person was very efficient while the others stood around. I have multiple pictures of this out my window.

They handled all of our belongings with the upmost of care and had 2 trucks loaded in 3 hours. Unloading at the new house was amazing - they put rooms together just as they were at the first house. I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. Will recommend them to anybody in my network who needs moving services.
