I explained to the owner that it had arrived broken and that the Amazon seller was reshipping a new mirror. I had questioned whether it was worth replacing, but if it could be done for a reasonable amount I would like to keep from throwing away a beautiful metal frame. Owner stated they agreed, I gave dimensions of mirror and owner stated it would cost $50. I dropped framed mirror off and didn't hear anything until I called 2 weeks later. Owner stated the mirror was complete and I could pick up. The following morning I went to pick up the mirror. However, owner was not present and when employee went to charge me there was no ticket on the item. The employee called the owner and after some discussion I was told it would cost $120! I stated I could have purchased a new mirror for $130 and that I had been quoted $50 initially. There was zero communication in letting me know that it would cost more than double the initial quote. Had I known I would not have had it replaced. In the end I ended up paying $75, which is still more than I had been quoted, but not the $120 they had tried to charge me. I absolutely will not do business with this company again and will not recommend any company, such as this one, that bait and switch their customers.

I was referred to a local unnamed glass company that I explained what I wanted and I sent pictures as well and waited a couple days, then called for a follow up again with no response then once more and received a call that they were simply too busy to handle my shower door and service requests...!?!? I came on Yelp and found Ace Hi, good reviews and saw some of the pictures and realized they likely installed the two shower doors that I needed adjusted. I called spoke to Fred gave him the rundown of what I was looking for along with measurements & pictures and he quickly gave me a ballpark as to pricing on that first phone call - which was more than fair. I asked to be put on the schedule and he said they'd call in a couple weeks; sure enough, after a couple weeks I got a call they were ready to come out to install. Fred showed up had the new basement sliding glass doors in in no time and went to work cleaning, adjusting, throwing a new sweep on and a new bead of silicone on the old shower doors that they had installed here at the house some years back. In fact, nothing was communicated whatsoever between 11/24 and 12/5 when I called back at 10:15 a.m. to figure out what was going on. I was told that no ticket had ever been made for me. The gentleman told me that he would look into it and give me a call back. Nobody ever called me back. At this point I am a little frustrated. I call back today, Monday 12/8 and I am told that I am on the list and I should hear from someone any day. All I said was that I was frustrated that communication had not been better, because the ball had already been dropped once and I was left in the dark all weekend about what my status was or if I even had a ticket now. The man said, "Okay. Well thanks for calling" and hung up on me. I called back and the phone went to voicemail twice. They did call me back. I said, I would like to cancel my service and without even asking my name, they said okay and hung up on me again. I'm pregnant and trying to move across state and doing my best to get my house ready to sell and now I'm crying over my broken window because the employees at this business wasted almost two weeks of my time and then didn't even have the decency to be professional and understanding. I am so happy to be moving out of this place after 2 years. One of the worst complexes I have ever…read morelived in. Maintenance orders take forever to get completed, and when they do the jobs they are done poorly or not completed. Example. The bathroom sink was leaking out the bottom. Took over a week for them to get to it. Then after they fixed it, it started leaking again. Waited another 2 weeks for them to come back. This time they put in a new sink. Never finished caulking around the sink though. There is black mold forming on the bathroom ceilings. Was already there when I moved in. Appliances are out dated, and anything replaced is cheap. Yesterday I got home from work to find a bunch of cat litter and cat poop right outside the entrance door to our building unit. Someone's trash bag ripped and decided not to clean it up. Called the office. They said they knew and put in a WORK ORDER!! Went to work this morning and the litter and crap is still there. I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous. Someone should have been sent to clean it up, not a work order. The outside lighting is horrible and gives the community an unsafe feeling. There are also vehicles sitting around the lots that have not moved in 8 months and no one has been in them. There is a car with a broken out window and no license plate, yet still sits there. Guessing most likely stolen vehicles that just get dumped, cause in Springfield stealing cars seems to be the cool thing to do. Management at this establishment has let this complex turn to crap the past couple years. Back in the day it may have been a pretty nice complex. But now it is overpriced and ran down.

New carpet, drip pans, etc. I find it absurd that as a company they lack the integrity to take responsibility for the obvious structural shortcomings and fix up the apartment themselves. Instead, they took advantage of a previous tenant by sending them straight to collections to renovate the apartment. Do not live here under any circumstances. You as a human being deserve to live in a place that isn't infested to this degree. Also, give your rent money to a company with integrity and not people that are going to take advantage of you.
