It was attended by four moms and their babies, plus two grandmas. The clinic featured a scale to measure each baby's intake during the session. Heather did a great job of helping each mom with her individual problem, which ranged from very painful nipples, to latching problems, to supply issues - providing specific and helpful tips. She took time to present information useful to all moms, while also enabling some informal sharing between us new mamas at different points. The clinic has been going on for about four months at the QueensWest location, and is currently held at 11am on Fridays. The breastfeeding clinic was also my first time at Queens West Health, which is an LIC neighborhood resource that I'm glad I found. It is the home of the general practitioner / family practice of Dr. Savard and Dr. Cole, and also is home to practitioners from other specialties including massage (Earth + Sky and Balance Spa are co-located at QueensWest) as well as nutrition, pediatric speech therapy, and acupuncture, plus a few more I'm forgetting. I don't currently have a general practitioner in the neighborhood, but next time I need one I'll be visiting QueensWest.

I brought my paperwork, but it still was not enough, and I did not understand why. My sister helped me by FaceTime to communicate with the doctor/audiologist, but even then the doctor seemed confused about what I needed the paper for. That was very frustrating for me because I am Deaf and communication is already limited. I have needed hearing aid support for many years, and I really hoped this place would help me move forward. Sadly, I left feeling disappointed and had to cancel and try to get a new referral somewhere else. I am sorry, but I want to speak the truth about my experience. I hope they can improve communication and support for Deaf patients in the future.

We arrived…read moreat 10:45 a.m. for her 11:00 a.m. appointment, but we were not called until approximately 1:04 p.m. Waiting over two hours for a scheduled appointment is simply unacceptable. The delay caused my grandmother to miss another medical appointment she had with a different doctor, which she ultimately had to cancel. This created unnecessary inconvenience and stress for her. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but a wait of this length without timely care or clear communication is very disappointing. It gives the impression that the office may be understaffed or that there are operational issues that need to be addressed. Regardless of the cause, this situation should be investigated because it is not a normal or acceptable experience for patients. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this office. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure other patients do not experience the same situation.

unfortunately I got a faulty unit which after maybe two to three months was replace even though the…read moresupplier was reluctant.Before this I had 5 years of first class service.since the faulty unit there has been many bad communication mistakes.They blamed me for some and I am willing to accept as I got frustrated with the issue.They agreed to move forward with certain terms which I was willing to follow.After 3 months I have noo idea if the health insurance will cover some of the cost of the new hearing aids.Unfortunately as of yesterday one person seems to not be following what we agreed.I would say that one owner was will to work out a solution while the other comes across as she is right and you need to remember that.The whole situation is very disappointing and unfortunately I am sorry to say I would not recommend them.

Given the complexity of my case, Dr. Sperling monitored me closely for a full year before even considering another revision. By that point, my conductive bones had eroded, making this a very challenging situation. Dr. Sperling was extremely clear and thorough in explaining the risks involved with another revision, and I chose to proceed fully informed. I experienced immediate improvement in my hearing after surgery, and at one month post-op my hearing continues to improve. This was truly a salvage case after several failed operations. I consulted with multiple surgeons, and Dr. Sperling stood out as the most accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely committed to helping me. As a hobbyist musician, restoring hearing means the world to me. Highly recommended ear surgeon with excellent bedside manner.
