I write from my own experiences. While a further trip then my current Audio Center, I am glad I went. She was thorough in testing and well spoken so I could hear the information she shared. I give her 5 stars. Her office person Diane was not in at this visit. I have not gotten the hearing aids yet and I can only hope they are better than the ones I currently have. Which to my surprise were covered with wax and she cleaned them for me. No wonder they were not working well. (yes, I had made unsuccessful appointment attempts at my current hearing place when I started having problems with them) Thus once gotten and adjusted new hearing aids, and seeing and hearing how they work, I can refurb on the extra star. The area is beautiful. Main Street and Argile Theater are down the block. Thre is also a pond in the back (birds with babies) off the parking area. Note: If using a GPS put in 20 Argile Square to take you directly to parking lot and upon entering note the direction of the arrows to find parking and entrance. (see pix) Office is at far end. It is comfortably furnished with varied certificates and pictures placed on the walls. Note: Hours and days, or call or check as needed for appointments and follow ups. The technology they use to assist in the computer programming of your hearing aids is state of the art. Even when I had a tech problem with them they took care of the problem immediately. Recently, I went to my primary care for a constant cough, the inability to sleep comfortably through the night, and constant brain fog. I lost my voice and the issues were pervasive for almost three months! After a number of tests, my doctor ruled out strep throat and other possible infirmities and advised that I should see an ENT. I then remembered that I had not seen Dr. Dash in a while and set my appointment. As usual, the staff greeted me with a smile and, of course, remembered who I was. I jokingly admitted my delinquency in keeping up my yearly appointment. Dr. Dash greeted me and said that I had not seen him in three years! He then quickly diagnosed what the problems were, along with impacted ears, my sinuses were the issues. He quickly cleared my ears and advised a medication for my sinuses. I thought that I could have bought the medication over the counter but Dr. Dash informed me that this particular medication was expensive. Following his instructions as to the use of the prescription, I slept like a baby the first night, and no more brain fog! I now have no issues and discovered that because the what I had been undergoing, I did not notice that this had affected my energy to the point that I slipped behind in my projects, put off doing things because I felt that I couldn't think straight. When i showed up for my 9 am appointment, {first appointment for this office} I was greeted with a locked door. At 9:07 am Dr. Dash walks pass me in the hallway without a word. I decided to knock on the door, thinking I don't have this appointment. The secretary answers the door and gives me an excuse that the door did not pop open? Next i wait for them to make sure my Medicare card was good. At 9;17 I enter his room and tell him that i can't understand how I am the first appointment, that I had to wake up the staff to open the door, then wait for him to get there. At this time, considering that he is now being condescending, i explain to him that i am leaving. At no time did the doctor or staff offer an apology or seem to care. After reading some of his reviews, it seems he has had issues, My conclusion is if you're looking for a doctor that cares he is not the one. She has a lot of concerns, has long had difficulty being taken seriously at the pediatricians' practice, and increasingly complained of discomfort and palpitations for over a week prior to her visit. I booked through ZocDoc, so it didn't actually generate a true appointment with the younger Dr. Hertz. I would have understood being moved to a different day, but on a busy Sunday, they still fit my daughter in to see the other Dr. (Howard) Hertz. Yes, there was a wait, which is to be expected on a Sunday and I brought a book. My daughter wanted to go in alone (her first time) and she was very apprehensive, and had been distressed in the days prior due to intensifying discomfort and broad symptoms. She came out of her visit extremely relieved, her concerns addressed, and with some testing appointments scheduled. She is afraid of blood draws, and said the nurses gave her an alcohol pad to sniff (normally I am there with her, so she was probably more anxious). In her entire medical history, she has always felt like any symptom she asked about was unaddressed, and the change in her demeanor after her visit was immediate - she was no longer scared she was seriously ill or on the verge of death. So on a busy Sunday, Dr. Hertz had a billion patients and still managed to make my sensitive/shy teenager feel heard, seen, and safe. I wasn't present so I didn't get the chance to explain her distress and discomfort, and he and the nurses noticed and addressed it anyway. My daughter is relaxed now and feels relieved, and I am so impressed that every person with whom she interacted made her feel safer and calmer. And I finally got to read my book!
