I search for a computer repair shop. I found my computer man. I called at 6:15 p.m. which was pretty late. Kevin called back within 10 minutes. He immediately went into solution mode. Over the phone! I was calling to find out where he was located and when I could come by the next day with my computer. But he wanted to try something over the phone to see if I could somehow get into the computer again. Unfortunately it did not work. He told me what was likely the issue and my options. He could have told me to come in and bring my PC and he could have tried to remove the hard drive and move my data over to another machine, etc. But he was very honest and said at this point, given the issue and the fact that the PC was over 5 years old the best thing to do would be to get a new PC. Receive a call from my bank that someone tried to transfer $2500 out of one of my accounts. Made a call to My Computer Man he was here in last then 4 hours and within 10 min. he found I had been hacked and someone else had control of computer, my accounts, my e-mail, all my passwords. The hack job was due to a stupid thing I did. Ninety minutes later Kevin had me back in control, passwords changed on all major accounts, and receiving all my new and old e-mails.
